I watched the true life drama about this, and was shocked. I'm 64 and remember it all being in the news etc, at the start. I didn't know the whole story however, not the full extent. This is government isn't it, and it's why Sunak has promised to help them - only since the drama. The Government is rotten to the core. The Post Office is governed by the Government, so it's their fault. How disgusting that it was known, and blatantly obvious, these people were innocent. Yet they were dragged through the mud, and people committed suicide, and died of grief, over the years. That drama is the best I've seen in a long time - particularly since it is all true. I was bullied at the Portsmouth City Council, from 1997 to 2001, and attempted to take my life. My life has been ruined since 2001, and the bully blacklisted me, so I was unable to get another permanent job. Many others were bullied too, in different departments if the Portsmouth Council. So I have more than an understanding about this kind of thing. Only difference, is I'll never be compensated. I hope the post office staff get everything that's owed to them, and that this never happens again.
