Looks like I put the wrong link in the description, I'll fix that. You can find the course here: richardyot.gumroad.com/l/postprocess

@@RichardYot would you mind me asking you a few questions regarding reasons for specific technical choices of yours? I'm really happy I purchased this course, I wish I had ever been taught good technique when I spent all my money on tuition. The good stuff came later through online tuition (barely ever through free KZbin tutorials).

I'd love to buy this course, but I'm afraid it will be too outdated by now. Have there been updates or new knowledge I should be aware of?
@RichardYot3 жыл бұрын
There's honestly nothing outdated about this course at all :) The techniques are just as applicable in 2021 as they were in 2018.

@@RichardYot Alright, interesting. Denoising has come a very long way in 3D packages so I wonder if that part of the course is still relevant. I also switched to post processing in affinty, using James Ritson's macros for filmic blender. I'm really looking for something that goes very in depth and technical into file formats, colour science, physics of light etc. Do you have a list of topics covered?
Can this tutorial help me to use Unity post processing stack better?
@RichardYot6 жыл бұрын
Probably not, it's really more geared towards Photoshop and Affinity, some things will translate but others won't (for example I don't think the Unity Post Processing has curves).
It has some curves. I don't know if they are like what you expected.

Ok I've had a look at those links, and the general information in the tutorial might be useful but obviously the Unity controls are going to differ a bit, so I can't really recommend it 100%.

Uhu! Exactly what I was looking for. Vray denoiser is nice but in most cases, I can't predict it's effect. And thanks for a reasonable price. Downloading right now.
