The first time i heard and saw something about The Postal was from my older brother who passed away 13 years ago... And it was not even the original Postal 2.. it was that Share The Pain multiplayer mode.. and i remember we downloaded it from some sketchy site.. which was probably infested with so many viruses and trojans.. but we didn't care about that.. we played it with the bots for days.. sometimes even full weeks.. you kinda remind me of him... especialy your voice.. it's like im listening to him explaining to me all the tips and infos from the game.. Thank you so much for this, such a nostalgic ride down memory lane. I played the multiplayer of Postal 2 on custom servers with loads of voice commands, server-exclusive weapons and skins, posters with Postal Babes on the walls for about 1.5 years religiously every single day for hours on end; never had such a creative and fun experience in an online shooter again. Low gravity matches as tiny dude on maps with rocket launchers that launch planes, screaming bombs, the M.@.D.-weapons and that annoying "lol" chat-sound? Magic times.

so was postal multiplayer any good? I could honestly see it probably being fun but it just fell through the cracks as people mainly focused on the excellent single player. Would be neat to see a deep dive on it, and maybe see if it just turns out some weapon is horribly overtuned and kinda makes the strategy one-note. also, Sickle.
