Coached high school and won a state high school championship as a coach. Went to the SWAC "HBCU" and won the SWAC championship as a coach. Took the Head Coaching job from a team that went 1-11 and now they 3-0. Only Coach to see his oldest son take it back to the house on a pick 6 and then his other son at QB dominated. Coach Prime be spitting facts. He wants the coverage so that institutions AND players can get their flowers. That doesn't mean it's a cake walk or just given because you have to do the work and he's showing that if you are willing to put in the work and do your job he's willing to do the same for you. In the past in underserved communities hard work just got you the necessities and the system did not allow for "equal opportunity." That's different with Coach Prime. You can work hard, and do the right things, and win on and off the field. He does this with humility, with respect, and is showing his players AND staff how to do things right. Football as Coach Prime say, is just a tool and it's a tool he knows very well. He loves coaching his "kids", and I mean kids as his players. He wants his kids to succeed in life, especially the 95% that won't go pro to the NFL.
