They only get 80% of the delivery fee not including the service fee and basically most of their wage is tips. Please tip! Couriers work very hard to get you your food on time!

+Mishkamoto As a Postmate I agree. Nothing quite like coming home after 8-10 hrs of hustling, excited to see what kind of tips you made, only to see zeros down the board. I don't like going to sleep knowing i just worked for $6/hr.

POSTMATES purposely makes it seem like it's all delivery fee and going to us! They should call it Administrative fee...

so if you do 2 deliveries per hour you make 10$ an hour. that seems good for a job that doesn't require an education

Seriously you should tip your delivery driver more than you tip your to go person. They work for tips silly. Hey I got idea maybe you can not tip and then you will loose this awesome service because nobody will drive to your location for no money.

Honestly, I either cook or just wait. A 31.00 order comes out to 51.00 with Postmates fees and delivery charge then I have a driver staring at me for a tip. GFOH highway robbery.

made $23.96 with 4 deliveries in lets say 3 hours of riding around - One place forgot to make the order but the app said it was ready - that was some downtime...
