great reaction guys. as i mentioned in another reaction, the original radiohead version helps you connect with your emotions but this one actually pulls all those emotions out of you. postmodern jukebox (or pmj) takes current songs and completely re-imagines them vintage (1920s to 1960s) in the music itself and style of the performances that actually take you back in time. they have a variety of good vocals but haley reinhart especially with postmodern jukebox is incredible. all the other haley/pmj ones are great also: "all about the bass", "habits", "black hole sun", "mad world", "seven nations army", "oops i did it again", "lovefool" and the very recent "don't speak". she also did an amazing cover of elvis presley's "can't help falling in love" which is truly stunning and frequently referred to as what love sounds like for an extra gum commercial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/laaxoXiYqZyqldE

The band leader (who arranges the music) plays piano, the other band members in this song are a drummer, a bass player, a saxophonist, a trombonist, and the guest vocalist.

Haley is beautifull woman, unique voice, control vocal, wow she's fenomeno. Postmodern Jukebox is a genre musical, created by Scott Bradlee, pianista of group. Sugestion: Haley Reinhart "SEVEN NATION ARMY" Vintage Postmodern Jukebox. Im brasilian. Bye

To sum up what PostModern Jukebox is - a collaboration of different artists revolving around the arrangements of Scott Bradlee (the pianist). Everyone, including Scott on piano, can be plugged in to perform a song that he arranges. A number of the artists have made multiple appearances, Haley probably the most listen of all those invited to perform. The touring shows are like a cabaret inasmuch as there are dancers and clowns that perform with the orchestra. There is a current PMJ group touring Europe, with I'm sure at a venue near you.

also what is even more impressive is that this masterpiece was actually completed in one take with a tired voice and all but one of the postmodern jukebox covers are done live with no auto-tune, etc more info below here is the history of "creep" one take from scott bradlee (the creator and pianist from postmodern jukebox): kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6TOfIZ-ZrCZarc. here is additional history on haley and "creep" from #1 fan haleyTusk (even has a color pic of her from that day): kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4ekhIeXftSHj9k

Yes. The piano player, Scott Bradlee, formed the group Post Modern Jukebox. They started out in 2011 as just a bunch of musical friends who began in a basement in Queens, NY. To date, 40 different musician have been used and nearly 90 vocalists. It’s an intriguing Jazz & Blues throwback concept that has produced some truly amazing results. They have five more stops on their current Grand Reopening Tour which began Oct 17 in Huntington, NY and will end May 9 in Victoria, BC.

next 'Oops I Did It Again' PMJ / Haley, I think that's what Dominika (hi, I'm Dominik from Germany...) would like to see as another 'modern' song turned vintage by Scott Bradlee (the guy on the piano) which is fun and a well known song as well, but not so personal to her ... and I'd love it because it's got more Haley on it and I just love love love Haley, but else e.g. PMJ & Morgan James "Dream On" is great, or maybe even "All About That Bass" where we get even three great singers... anyway, loved your reaction and am hoping to see more PMJ / Haley on your channel... have a great day and enjoy it!

PMJ is a great group which re-arranges popular music in the style of the 40's, 50's, etc. The pianist is the leader, and he and the other musicians form PMJ. They feature different vocalists. I saw them in concert a couple of years ago, and it was amazing.

PMJ is a "musical collective." The only constant from song to song (there are hundreds of them!) is Scott Bradlee, PMJ's founder, arranger, and pianist. A reinterpretation like you saw here begins with Scott re-imagining a modern song in a throwback style, usually mid-20th century. He selects vocalist(s) and the appropriate instrumentation and then recruits the necessary singers and musicians. This can range from a combo to a small orchestra--but almost all instruments will be acoustic. Haley was featured on many of PMJ's most successful performances. Most of the PMJ/Haley videos date back to 2015...and then, all of a sudden we got a NEW PMJ/Haley performance 6 months ago! Every one of the PMJ/Haley performances are worth a listen, but "Seven Nation Army" ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/qXOZeYxup55racU ) and "Don't Speak" (from 6 mos ago - kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqnMaISrhJ5soa8 ) are excellent follow-up choices. To get a good idea of the wide range of song | style mashups from Scott, try PMJ's reinvention of "Wannabe" (Spice Girls, 1996)...performed in the style of The Andrews Sisters (WWII-era close-harmony trio) -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2rNeHqfps-qnJY

PMJ and Haley Reinhart is just a beatly combination. Haley has one of the biggest vocal toolkits around. Haley definitely one of the best. They take modern songs then spin them back in time to 20's - 60's styling. The Piano player Scott Bradlee is the main force behind PMJ. "Love Fool" very fun, "Black Hole Sun", "Don't Speak"..enjoyed it u2!!!

Here’s a performer that I would really like to get your reaction to. As a background, Angelina Jordan (16) began singing at 1 ½ and making several studio recordings at 6. She’s a self-taught child prodigy, who grew up listening to jazz and the blues. At 7 years old, little barefoot Angelina auditioned for Norway’s Got Talent. Angelina arranged her music and delivered spot-on performances of jazz classics that stunned everyone. She was so young you can even watch her permanent teeth filling in from her first and last performance. The outcome, Angelina swept aside the other finalists and won as a newly turned 8 year-old. You will quickly fall in love with this girl's singing. The first piece is her ‘black and white studio performance’ of "I Put a Spell on You" (Screamin' Jay Hawkins, 1956). At 9 years and 2 weeks old, Angelina had arranged the music for the band, her lyrics, and gave a performance that shouldn't be possible for a 9 year old girl. Many have said she has a very old soul when it comes to music. The second piece I would love to get your reaction to is Angelina’s (13) audition for America's Got Talent the Champions. Angelina, as is her way, sang her own unique arrangement of "Bohemian Rhapsody" (Queen, 1975). Not only did she receive a golden buzzer, advancing her to the finals, she got a tweet from Queen for her rendition. Here are the links: "I PUT A SPELL ON YOU" (black and white studio performance) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKipnaJ5hb2tedU AGTC - "BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY" (includes golden buzzer) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qnSUmXdtoMSKitk ***Angelina Jordan is known as "the Barefoot Princess" or "the Barfoot Princess of Jazz". Here's the background on why she goes barefoot whenever she performs on stage or while making a studio recording: The story is that when living in the Middle East, at age 6, she came across an orphaned girl earning money by weighing people in the street with a bathroom scale. She noticed how cold it was and that the 6-7 year old girl was not only barefoot, but had scars on her feet. So 6 year old Angelina took off her own shoes, shoes that she loved, and gave them to the girl. Angelina decided she wouldn't wear shoes in her performances to remind her of all the children in the world who had no parents, proper clothes, or shoes. Hence, you will hear her called the "Barefoot Princess", or the "Barefoot Princess of Jazz". Of the encounter, little 6 year old Angelina wrote in her diary: “The world is very strange. Right then and there I felt as if a door in my heart opened up, and it was filled with lots of lights. It was as if there was, from Earth to Heaven, a staircase. I climbed the stairs. To be able to do something for another human - it was such a big thing…hard to describe really.” In 2015, at 9 years of age, Angelina wrote a book about the encounter, making her the youngest published author in Norway. The book and the attire Angelina wore for her AGTC audition were designed by her grandmother who was a child prodigy in art.

You could have let the whole thing play. This video never gets copywrited. It'd be nice if someone with the ability would make a list of videos and their copywrite sistuation, so reactors could check before they make their reactions. I know, easier said than done, but I'm sure there's some capable people out there that could get it done.

Whenever someone gets 15% into a new version of an iconic song cover and proclaims they like the original version better at that stage, the rest of the reaction becomes meaningless to me. Please listen to the entire cover first, then draw a conclusion.

I think the original is supposed to make you think of the exact wording from a specific POV. Haley's rendition points to why that version is just so wrong. She has the minimal movement that just screams maximum sensuality...not a creep in any sense.

Of course she's talented, of course she's beautiful, and of course she has a tremendous amount of charisma, which makes me feel that she's making an absolute mockery of this incredible song. That said, I love the band's interpretation of this song.

Wow... lots of pauses in all the wrong places. I get that you have to pause here and there for copyright, but this one got a bit ridiculous. Long conversations in the middle of a performance like this one takes us right out of the magic. Most of those discussions could have waited until after the song.

I like her voice, but for me, the tone of the song doesn’t seem to match the lyrics. I don’t feel the insecurity emotionally coming through, she’s approaching the song with confidence and, for me the lyrics are an expression of insecurity and not fitting in. The approach seems more sultry or seductive. But like I said I definitely like her voice. Brian Justin Crum does the best version of this song, he has also sung with Mitch and Scott from Pentatonix, in a song called Rise, which is incredible.
