The original by Tove Lo is definitely not a jazzy song. The lyrics will throw you for a loop. Postmodern Jukebox take current songs and rearrange them into vintage styles.

PMJ and Haley are worth exploring together and independent of each other. Everything PMJ does is a cover adapted to a different era and genre and they often throw in some fun aspects in the performances. Actually I can name one case where they stay true to the original but they have fun with it in a different way. Haley can do anything. Covers true to the original, covers that have been adapted to different styles and great original songs. She is an advocate of supporting live music, especially classic rock, jazz, soul and blues. She is the only artist of whom I would say her live performances are better than the studio releases. Not knocking her studio releases, they are great but she doesn’t need the editing and mixing.
