Morgan is amazing, and I have listened to this version so many times. Love PMJ as well! I don't mean to hijack this reaction because I do like her so much, I suggest checking out a completely different take on this song by a Violet Orlandi (you don't have to react, but I would check it out) . With that being said - Morgan does a killer version of Maps with PMJ :-)

Watch some of the stuff Morgan did at home (on her personal KZbin channel), early in the Pandemic (in the initial lockdown period). It proves her genius, because its just her and one guitar, and its about a month or two worth of daily videos which all sound utterly perfect. Her journey was Opera to Broadway to Jazz to Whatever you call what she does now. That jazz influence is of The Great American Songbook variety, and I can see why you might interpret it a little like older country.

Actually a little over 3 months of daily "Quarentune" Videos... 100 to be exact. The final cover "Everybody Hurts" by R.E.M. is PHONOMINAL! Morgan's sings it so such Emotion and gives it an Inspirational feeling. I've shared it a few times to friends going through hard times. That's where I first discovered Morgan. I was listening to Haley (LOVE her sexy little growls) but couldn't take my eyes off the blonde at the right. When said blonde belts "I'm bringing booty baaaaaack!" my jaw dropped! 😯I very impatiently waited to the end and found out her name, Morgan James, so I could find anything and everything about her. It's unfair that Ariana had to follow Morgan because quite honestly, I couldn't focus.

Hi there! I love both PMJ and Morgan James.. have you heard Morgan James and Hayley Reinhardt singing the Beatles song "Dear Prudence"? Its just amazing and.. have you ever heard Teddy Swims? I am lazy and should have looked but have you reacted to Pentatonix when they were competing (and slaying) on “Sing Off”? As much as you love Pentatonix it is basically the beginning for them. It is SO great. A lot of interviews with them….and it was so fun to watch them grow and know that they were going to be big. They were SO YOUNG! 💗
