Everyone talking about going gay for Haley has made me picture a husband and wife actually listening to this performed live in the 50s. The husband is red-faced jaw dropped and realizing his facial expression looks at his wife guiltily. His wife is still looking at Haley with the same expression.

I've been listening to this version for years and happy more people are being introduced to this cover and are enjoying this performance. But this time around, when I listen to this piece. I always notice and enjoyed the ending, of how she changed her vocal tune to be airy, welcoming and flirty tease to it. This time, I notice the juxtaposition of her voice, expression and lyrics, especially at the end. 3:0s As she ends the song, the musicians at the back, begin changing tempo of the music, making it silky and mellow. As well as Haleys tune begins to mellow, and soften. But this part percisly, 3:17 where I want to have your focused, the part I mentioned previously is more so the transitioning towards the lovely twist she did to end the song. She sings the words, " I'm not that innocent. " The juxtaposition, or another way to describe it, is the contrast, in how she sung those words. For a moment, be attentive to the detail of her voice. Haley, softens her voice significantly. Stretching her voice, elongating each word like yarn. The tune of it, switching so that its sounding more fun, flirty and....you guessed it, innocent. She sings, as if she wants to test the person, who's attention she's capture, with the allure of her voice, by making it very inviting and innocent. Giving them false security, that she is exactly who she protrays herself to be. Shows contrast to the lyrics because, it is like a warning of truth....but the melody is too sweet to ears and soul, so in result, you ignore that warning. The person isn't fully tuning to her words. Let alone, the meaning because the sweetness of her voice already has them melted like a Ice cream on a sidewalk on a hot day. _ Also, the musicians on the beautiful performance. They also deserve their round of applause. _ Voila, Fin Anywhoooo, Tataa, Take care. Muaah Much Love - X. A❣️

Another point, I wanted to pair together but I didn't feeel the way I written was fully showcasing the way I viewed the piece, performance, gestures etc I feel could have wirriten it better, if I knew how to write this part how I felt and saw it. However, still wanted to share it. _ Having her hand gestures and body movements mimic and give off a innocent, perhaps even shy vibe. Her slowing down the speed in which she traces the air with her arms, her hands moving dedicately. And condensing her movements, as she begins to minimize how much space she takes. Some may see it as her being shy, but maybe it's her becoming comfortable with the situation at hand, as the power is in her hands. Her left hand, resting on her hip and her right hand, pointing to her lips as she pouts. Her hips sway to right, as her left leg moves upward, kicking her left foot up, showcasing her stylish pumps for a moment. A pose, I feel, can be done in way to give a ray of confidence and be flirty, perhaps like a pin up doll Hopefully this makes sense, As I m not sure how else to explain this part to match the meaning I want to give to the exact. Then finishing to her final pose andand facial expression. Which is very strong and bold, and confident. The interpretation, I feel the part, that matches to her words and it's mesnint, showcasing the truth. I get here is of a woman who's self aware, knowing the power of her charm and she'll you a warning, but only one, to be careful and proceeds if you dare. Beause she isn't the woman you think she is, and maybe sometimes even takes herself by surprise... _ This is my interpretation, if you understand my viewpoint, that's appreciative and if you don't, that's fine or if you see another interpretation of it, I'd like to read it. However, you don't have to be rude about it if you don't see or understand how I view that part of the piece. Take care, have a good day. Voila, Fin Anywhoooo, Tataa, Take care.
