just played one with a double T8 CV match... thankfully only 1 DD and 1 sub(which i got towards the end of the match just before killing the CV too for double strike) even went through center cap about 10 min in and capped after shaving about half HP off some of the other BBs and took top of team lol. too many noobs playing in upper tiers is definitely a HUGE issue since WG just handing stuff out or people shelling out $$$ for stuff they don't even understand how to play yet...

So OP atm. 1st 5 games came top 3 in all 5 games with 6pt captain. No rudder and it still turns like a light cruiser, use torp detection mod so u can dodge CV and DD torps. Funny button for spamming secondaries at close ships with 2ndary range etc. Spam HE like no 2moro. The t9 and 10 is meant to be even more outrageous. WG will nerf them eventually.

same here, I got about 1/2 the needed containers after the free ship and S.C.s, pretty sure it'll become available for coal containers in armory like the other collection commanders . I'm just gonna treat it like early access in the shiplines, and wait for it to come out regularly and get it at my leisure

I use the reload buff early and often. That gets to the improved commander skills. Sometimes I use it without much to use it on just get the special Commander skills going.

I had the same issue. Ended up giving the scum at WG real money for the Aquatica Tokens. You get a premium container every two attempts using those tokens for the gambling. As I write this I realize how insane it is but I really wanted the commander for the Libertad. But honestly, Its gambling for a chance to then gamble again. BTW, all the containers Opened (like 16 I think) gave me only one piece, everything else was a duplicate. But you can convert 3 duplicates into a piece. Pretty scummy way to run a game.

I really need to get my captain leveled up to get the Secondary skill that improves accuracy. Even when I have matches where I get to use the funny button multiple times, it's almost shocking how little these secondaries actually land.

Been running into them a lot in Brawl, and they definitely eat cits when showing broadside. I haven't quite worked out where it's taking the cits. I suspect it might be the fore and aft ends of the citadel where it is the outer layer of armor.

Yeah i've had this for a bit now and think its very good, havent had a bad game in it, at least when I got support. Its the state of play in the game thats the problem, even when you want to push almost always you'll be doing it alone and getting focused very quickly. So a good boat overall.

Tbh, I tried to use Kiting Build like how I Operated Hood. And my god this ship is amazing to be an annoyance. The Acceleration is insane and by making her being regular Tank build (not recommended) making her literally annoying to kill.

I love Atlantico but her secondary guns get destroyed way quicker. Ipa seems to have higher HP (ive full buffed the secondaries on Atlantico) Its also harder to get the commander buffs in atlantico since its sec DPM is worse. So farming hits is slower

Iprianga feels great if you're angling well and the enemy is forced to sling HE at you. As soon as I started to show side armor though to get the secondaries working, I got hit by some single AP cits that put me out of the game. It's definitely a downside compared to the German battleships that have little fear of cits even full broadside, but it's more than made up with the maneuverability and turret layout.

PSA: Ipiranga is super easy to citadel due to the massive and weird citadel geometry. I've seen Santander 152mm citadel this thing at range, and I have personally cit'd her repeatedly in my Des Moines.

Well you guys did have/do have(not sure witch) 2 Fletchers, 2 Gearing and a single Edsall-class destroyer(though it's primary guns are 76mm so not sure how that would work), so they could do a Pan-American DD line with a focus on ASW where those ships were all equipped for ASW work, having depth charge launchers rather than just dropping them, at least from the admit-ably limited research I've done. Given the ships that Mexico had/has they could be the T8 and T10 of the line. At least ya'll could still have your DDs as the top tier ships of a tech tree, Canada already has our two most famous ships as T7 premiums that can't even be bought anymore. T_T (Even though Haida could easily be a T9 or 10 ship with the stats she has now but maybe a little more HP, might even be a bit overpowered getting access to concealment.)

Okay i must be doing something wrong, everyone keeps claiming this ship is super strong or OP. I have done enough games in it to have the tier 9 researched when it comes out ( about 20 or so) and I just don't feel it. The guns are sad. the secondaries feel meh until you use the funny button, and the armor is just weird... I get my broadside absolutely slapped by other bbs, but I cant do the same to them. That maneuverability tho does feel super strong. I dont have the commander tho so maybe that makes a big difference?

waht is the point of EVER picking up Emergency Repair Specialist? it gives you around 2 seconds advantage with the 3% buff. when does 2 seconds ever give you any advantage? Why would even consider skipping Demolition Expert when it increases your chance of fire by 20% for your secondaries? from 5% to 6% that's a 20% increase.

I don't get all the love for this boat, yeah sure it's got buffed damage but even with a non-seconday build it can't hit the broadside of a barn. Add to that every time you bring it out the other team just focus fire's on it so by the time your secondaries are in range you're getting pummeled by three ships, the CV and any sub.

This ship is a bit too OP. I had to go AFK right at match start the other day because my wife needed help and I set it to do circles in the cap and left. I came back and, while I died, I killed their DD, got a cap, and did 42k damage just with secondaries. It was brawl, so only a few ships, but still.

i can`t make this ship work for me at all. Most of the games i`ve get citadeled few times easy. I make more dmg and survive 3-4 times longer with Warspite in tier 8 battle then with this one in any battle.

Certainly a lot better than the absolutely awful space camo they released for the Victoria, that one is the worst space themed camo I've ever seen them make. Also, if you hate some camos you can turn them off or just not get them. Side note, I have the camo for this ship and I actually like it more now than when I first saw it. There's certainly worse camos out there. Also better early access camos for sure but I kinda like it.

I think PQ totally missed the mark on this ship. Its really a crappy ship for Randoms, the dispersion from guns are horrible and you have to push in to make the secondaries work. I never have an issue against the Ipiranga.

But the secondaries are way more, and it's more tanky. Whenever I play Ipiranga in random matches, I can tank everything, even salvos from T10 BBs like Yamato. The gun angles are quite good and it is surprisingly easy to citadel. It's more of a brawler anyway so at medium/close range the guns are working like every other gun at T8

@@Blarggnugget Its not about pushing or not, battleships stay far from even the islands because only other battleships or carriers can reach them there, make it unsafe and you'll see more and more battleships hugging islands and closer to the actual action. The whole reason you see cruisers closer to the action is because they lack the range to punish battleships from afar.
