I had one of the best grinds playing the Monarch and Lion, even got a kraken on the Lion in an uptier. I was surprised with how good it performed after so many people saying it's horrible

I just got my Slava and I love it. Found out my aim did not suck as much as I thought it did. Cruiser level dispersion on rail guns is great. Also I found that if people know where I am they will angle to me while leaving themselves more open to my team because Slava is scary.

Even though on paper this ship technically is more accurate than a Wisconsin. If a ship is full broadside than yeah a slava will punish it considerably more. But if a ship is angled, Wisconsins tight shell sigma can easily get more damage. Overall I think Wisconsin is just better because you sacrifice a little bit of slava broadside accuracy but for way tighter and cleaner shells landing on target.

The Slava may be more accurate than a Wisconsin, but a Wisconsin is IMO a much better ship - it's ships like the Wisconsin that make this ship more and more irrelevant. I have both ships in my port and between the two - because of the Wisconsin - I don't feel any need or desire to take out the Slava anymore. I find the Slava to be a feast or famine kind of ship, and it's only real use seems to be in random battles. You don't play this in brawls and I don't see it too often in ranked and rarely in clans...if you have the RB points needed to get this, and you want a BB - please get the Ohio over this - at least at first.

@@ReDiR20 Very true - however, this ship is not a Wisconsin replacement, so please don't think of it like that. My main point is if you have the RB points available to get this ship, I would spend them on the Ohio or anything else first.

@@dangardner8456 Ohio may be a really really strong ship, but nothing really makes it special and fun to play. No real gimmick to it. Slava is the most accurate and best sniper in the game. Colbert has the highest dpm in the game. Vampire and Druid are super special DDs. Ohio is just strong in everything without anything special. So basically comp = Ohio. Fun in randoms = everything mentioned above.

I never regretted getting my Slava. When you just want to blast some ships not paying attention from halfway across the map, Slava is the one. I once cit a GK from 22 km. It was luck I know, but the fact that it could do it to that turtle back from 22 km, is ridiculous.

Every time I play this ship I feel like I could have done more in another BB or even my Stalingrad. Only having 406mm guns just feels painful, especially when you bounce the 30 plates on cruisers where the dozens of BBs that have 30 overmatch don't.

Slava isn't a good ship. It relies entirely on the enemy team having head dents. And it's not actually that accurate. Wisconsin is a far better ship in quite literally every way. Better guns, better armor, better hull, overpowered combat instructions

The GK turtle back armour arrangement makes it extremely hard to citadel, especially at closer ranges. You will get a lot of pens though.

Probably my favorite ship from the RB, although Vampire 2 is also amazing. Unlike many tryhards that want brawling above everything else, i still prefer mid range engagements around 13-15km. And Slava is a great BB, that works with good dispersion at those ranges. The fact that it excels at even longer ranges is just a bonus for me, when enemies try to play extra passive. Accuracy at shorter ranges is still decent.

Z52 and Derzki are the only two ships I have managed to get 8 destroyed ships with during random battles. For the Z52, I found launching the two torp tube launchers staggered by about 20, 30 seconds or so the best method for getting massive damage on BBs because you can catch them with their damage control on cooldown after you get a flooding from the first set of torpedoes so you can get a perma flood with the second. It's only annoying when you dont get a flood, because the damage on the torpedoes is pretty darn weak but they reload so quickly.

When I used to play i used to take this ship out whenever rng was being a big bitch, slap a few ships around and it felt good. You wish you don't have to play against German bb, because you needs to collect cits to make it up for low alpha damage harder to cit gk and stuff but you still can if they're in middle of a turn at long range, and if they're flat broadside you still do easy 25k+. This ship slaps but it has obvious weakness so that's good.
