Lovely heartfelt episode. Both Mr. Searcy and Ms.. White did wonderful portrayals of two of my favorite characters.

VERY good! GREAT performance by Mr. Searcy! Good portrayal of an emotional Vulcan who still can maintain his stoicism and dignity, even while emoting over his father's death. Well done!

Oh man... I am not sure who died -- his brother? Or maybe his dad? I'll have to watch again to see if I missed something. Also, love the use of the Funko Pop sorter box!

I misunderstood initially and thought it was the brother, but it was their father.

Which episode does privette take over as captain of the tristan. Continuity is a little choppy
@Potemkin17114 жыл бұрын
After the events of "Pride and Prejudice," the actor playing Captain Walker was unable to continue in the role.
@rahadyans1993 жыл бұрын
The first episode in which Privette is the CO is "A Look in the Mirror"

My late father's birthday is later this month and mine is the week after that. Papa would have turned 92 and I will be 58. We had a complicated relationship, but I miss him nonetheless.

Perhaps one day we will discover why Dr. Anderson has problems with other Vulcan. He took a different path from Mr. Spock. Fascinating!😂
@Potemkin17114 жыл бұрын
As did Sybok.
@bovnycccoperalover35794 жыл бұрын
@@Potemkin1711 True but Sybok was raised in the Vulcan way and was full Vulcan. D.C. Fontana said that Spock should have no siblings or half-siblings or adopted siblings, if you consider Discovery. I believe to retain his uniqueness and they kept that tar Tre I V my least favorite of the TOS movies.

I don’t really know how I feel about an emotional Vulcan.
@Potemkin17114 жыл бұрын
He's half-Human, but as Spock chose to embrace his Vulcan heritage, Dr. Anderson chose to embrace his Humanity. Interestingly enough, both followed their father's preference.

That's a common fallacy in Star Trek. "Vulcans have no emotions." Bull crap. Vulcans have very strong emotions. Stronger than human emotions. So strong that they have found those emotions must be ruthlessly controlled. They must be ruled, lest they (the emotions) will rule. Compare to Vulcan emotions, Human emotions are rather tame. That's why Humans can ride the tempest of their emotions and become stronger doing it. For a Vulcan to try it would be disastrous.
