Thank you for the video, found it interesting. Mine arrived last night, eagerly waiting for the burner phone i ordered and a warm day to try it out lol. The waymarks were of interest for me choosing my first drone, i think the waymarks will come in handy for scouting new hiking areas. Looks like an all around good device, i kind of like the effect of just having a single gimbal.

Marcus love your reviews and comparision videos, it helps your an old trucker as I am myself. I have the potensic se and a mini 3 pro. I bought the pro because of the potensic, in fact they both go with me on the road and i will use the mini 3 pro alot bit the potensic doesnt just sit idle. I love it. Just sitting with fingers crossed waiting for 3 axis gimble. I truly love your honest videos even when you are messing up and different things you do make your videos so authentic. Love them! Keep them rolling!!

That's a tough one. There could be so many reasons. Check your cable and make sure it's fully inserted. Try putting your phone in airplane mode.

Hi Marcus, nice review video. The Potensic is in the same price range (+- $50) with the Fimi X8 Mini V2. If you have to make a choice of just one, which one would you choose?

The guy on alien drones was having problems with range on his review of the Potensic atom. And like you said with the hubson drones he put his phone in Airplane mode and got a lot better connection.. did not know if you tried that also. Love your channel. Keep up the good work!

As someone else said, I too am a DJI Fanboy! I do wish my Air 2S had waypoints in normal video mode. I've got a couple of questions. Can the waypoint flight you set up be saved so that it could be flown repeatedly? I think being able to fly the same route, on the 1st of every month would make a neat video. Non-drone related question: Out between you and the sculpture there were 7 white rectangles on the ground. What are they? Looking forward to your next one, buddy!

Yes, you can save waypoint missions with DJI. 🙂👍 Those rectangles are sprinkler valve vaults.

How do you adjust the camera? Is there a toggle that lifts or drops the camera? Also when using waypoint does it only look forward or can it fly so the camera is looking 90degreees to the flight path? Great video thanks

I don’t remember if the Atom has POI in waypoints. You can adjust the camera angle though.

Hi Marcus, I bought that drone a week ago and I'm not getting anywhere near the image quality of your video, I'm using a lexar u3 a1 633x micro sd card, I'm also using the potensic pro v3.3.11 app, the display on my app doesn't have the same elements as yours.

The follow me mode is hit and miss, IME. One of the first time I used it... I think the drone might have been TOO close to me. Its reaction.... was to move away from me. In a sideway direction. Towards some trees. I had to take it off the mode ASAP in order to avoid collision. To me, this isn't the expected behavior. I've found it can be used in very open areas, with proper positionning of both drone & camera.

Yes, I would only use tracking on this drone is a fully wide-open area.

Just purchased a Potensic Atome SE and I was wondering how to set the height of the waypoint? If I activate a waypoint will the drone climb to preset maximum height? Or do I manually climb to the height I want to fly the waypoint and then activate the waypoint?

How do you turn off segmented recording? Every time I go to record, then play back my video recording on my PC, the footage is segmented!

Another good review, Marcus. I like flying waypoints with the Mini 2 using the Maven App. It’s fun to set various heights, directions, and orbits and watch the drone zoom across the sky in front of me. It appears that the Air 3 will have waypoints-if it does not, it may be a deal breaker for me. Cheers, buddy.

Air 3 will not have waypoints. Don't expect that. Such things are available on Enterprise series drones of DJI.

One of those drones that you have to ask why though? For just a LITTLE ITTY BITTY amount more you can get a DJI Mini, Mini SE, or Mini 2 SE. If you grab a used or refurbished, you can often find one for the same or less. A thought anyway.

It is little drones like this one, that makes me think again. Why, because dji have slapped a geo fence on my 4 drones. With a fence high at 94 feet, and a ruleing to fly above 50 meters, means I break the law. I know I can ask dji to remove the fence, at 84 years old it is just to complex for me to follow. The fence effects the Mini 2 as as well. I just do not know what to do,

The only thing that I can think of Derek is that you may not be logged into your DJI account. I know they will restrict the drone if it's not logged in.
