Let's logically derive an expression for electric potential due to an electric dipole, at a point far away from it.

THANKS A LOTT for taking time to explain why you didn't substitute in the numerator..... It really made me feel like i've learnt something new. Unlike any other teacher in India who would just ignore it and looking at that would ruin my mood to study and brings up hate towards this education system. You've earned your subscription.

following khan academy videos is making me realize how overcomplicated ncert is, that for no reason at a lot of places. this derivation for example is done there using binomial theorem. sir on the other hand made it so simple to understand. thanks a lot.

Wow I just like opened youtube looking for the answer to that r1-r2 problem, which kept on knocking on my conscience while I was teaching my junior this concept, without knowing myself the proper way of substituting in this one. And I stumbled upon this video, it seems like this video is god's gift😅❤️ thanks

Hey , did you get the video , where he derive the potential in a point charge ?
@varun3992
@varun3992 6 ай бұрын
@@Nancy_Shorts13 you have to see the expression of potential at point P that was derived earlier. You need to see that here. The difference of R1 and R2 is used to define the potential. Similarly, when he derive the difference between R1 and R2 as two a cost theta, then he substituted the same in the earlier equation, thereby resulting in the main formula.
