So, is the remedy to rinse for 2-3 minutes in cold water?

I always recommend using cold water with hand dyed yarn and fiber. If you watch the video, it explains how there's not a surefire remedy as crocking most likely has to do with the pH of your skin which is constantly shifting due to a variety of factors.

I don't think you dye with indigo, but what about when that crocks on your hands? I've read that crocking is more likely with indigo if the dyer tried to saturate the fiber too much in one dip (multiple dips are better). I have a skein of yarn a friend indigo dyed for me and yep, I swatched with it and my hands were blue. I'll watch your other videos on the related subjects and hope for advice. (I've tried fiber washing it in cold water without soaking; I'll try the Color Catcher [never thought of that, though I use it when washing my jeans all the time]). Thank you.

I've never tried dyeing with indigo so I couldn't say; I do know it's a unique process and is quite prone to crocking.
