This project is qute challenging for me but so enjoyable. I've made the jar and lid section on the wheel and Im waiting to add the extras but Im a bit stuck on starting the dipper......... QUESTION: Once you shaped the dipper on the hump did you wait until it was leather hard to carve into It or did you carve it at the same time as shaping it?

Wonderful! Yes, I waited until it was leather hard until I carved into it. Enjoy!! It was fun to make. I held onto the jar for a long time until I gave it to my good friend. She loves it. It matches in her kitchen. 😍

Thank you for asking Don. It is the Scott Creek super Duper Clay Extruder. You can get it from The ceramic shop website. Under (Clay Gun Super Duper). I love it and use it all the time. The clay does not stick inside the tube. So easy to clean.😃👍
