Hi Lyn! It is a good idea to use cinnamon powder on the cut area of the plant! Nicely potted up as a group! How are they doing now? Did you manage to have them grow? I hope so! Thanks Lyn for sharing! Sending you Lyn and Hans lots of love while hoping you enjoy your Saturday evening! Happy Sunday for tomorrow!

The Cinnamon powder works so well at preventing fungus and molds, the good news is the larger cutting recovered well, but the other ones died off which was a shame, but I am so glad that the larger one survived, I hope to see blooms on it again this year, thanks so much Sylvia for your wonderful comments and support and for watching, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to Malta for an incredible morning XXXX

Well done chaps a joint effort .....the tall one could be supported with a kebab stick .....I use them on my house plants when needed they are very thin and pointed and are ideal for a bit of support when rooting or flopping the wrong way

Can I ask for some advice? I got a new cactus about two months ago and it's roots have already grown well out of the bottom of the pot. Is it ok to repot it now? Or do I wait until the weather warms up?
@desertplantsofavalon4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kelly :-D the good news is now its almost Spring you can go ahead and re pot your cactus into a well draining cactus soil, but when you re pot leave the cactus unwatered for two weeks to allow the roots to settle into the new soil, here is a link to a video I have made on Repotting cacti : kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4G9nWebj9mVhdU thanks so much for your wonderful comments and for watching and sending you an abundance of love and happiness and PLANT POWER from across the Emerald Isle for a fantastic Thursday XXXX
