I had my pineapple guava, was potted and in the greenhouse (zone 7B, Va) with a heater going... and it still died this winter. 😢 I had it for 2 years. I'm SAD because I can't afford to get new one yet. It had to have happened when temperatures dropped below 0* Also lost my Sugar cane, in the greenhouse. 😭 They are DEAD.

Oh no - that's terrible. If you get another, try insulating a large cage with leaves. Having the double cover of the greenhouse AND the coldframe seemed to do the trick. I think it would have been even MORE protected, if I had sunk the pot into the soil of the garden bed, then insulated with leaves, covered with the coldframe, inside the greenhouse! I think that would work beautifully. Good luck!
