Snake is easily high tier but probably not top tier. This major was on patch 2.0.2 so the 3.0.0 nerfs to snakes side special and up smash were not in effect. Im not sure how much the nerfs will really affect Snake players (hopefully not to much) but it might hurt the character given that side special and up smash are two of Snakes best options.

Matt Bergz yeah I watched his matches on stream and its nothing different from the spam of grenade, c4s and nikitas that snake does. It's a zoner, what can you spect? But you don't see him running or stalling as Dabuz does. Myran and Shuton approaches the enemy and sometimes fast paces the match pressuring not only with the residual damage that the pikmins do

I like Leffen, but I remember when the game came out he said Snake was low tier and Olimar was only going to be good for a couple of months and wasn't to[p tier. So far, Snake has been in the top 8 of every single C,B, and A tier event in Ultimate so far with the exception of Genesis. And Olimar has been in EVERY top 8.

They only slightly decreased the Hitbox of side B, and added only a couple of frames more lag on up smash. Projectiles were nerfed in general. This patch did pretty much nothing. Definitely not enough to stop Snake winning tournaments lmfao

Bobo K, when he is throwing pikmin he is trying to cycle through to get the one he wants. He’s keeping track of both his 3 pikmin lineup and keeping track of the pikmin pull order at the same time so he always gets what he wants, so every time you see him throw a non white pikmin and he doesn’t whistle it back it’s because he’s cycling.
