Man Riddles has done such a good job covering his matchups. I remember seeing him going against Icymist and thinking "oh wow, yeah he's struggled against Samus's like her before". 3-0. See him going against Gackt and think the same thing, "oh wow yeah he's struggled against some Ness players before". 3-0. Man's on some kinda protagonist arc or something.

I think the most impressive thing about this match is that Riddles only landed one of the go! moves which was the buster wolf to finish the set. He never landed a single go! attack a single time other than that which really goes to show how impressive Riddles is even without comeback mechanics. His mechanics are just spot on.

Anyone who can compete at a high level with Ness gains my respect. Using pk thunder takes some practice. I remember on Smash melee way back when we were young, my cousin would choose Ness and was the only one who could use him effectively. He was the best out of us, using Ness. So from the get go I've had respect for Ness players. And what a cool name, Ness.

I was born quite a few years after Smash 64 first came out. One day, my mom wanted to visit her parents house and brought 6 or so year old me with her. My two cousins, both younger than me (one by a few years, one by a few weeks) invited me to play on their Dad's N64. Their were in the middle of a match playing SSB64. When I got the third controller, I choose a boy with a red and blue hat, because I liked his smile. I wrecked them. One of them played Pikachu, and I still won with the third worst character in the game. I play Ness til this day. Glad he's not low-bottom tier anymore.

Glad riddles ditched the Roy. As a spectator Kazuya > Terry >>>>>>>>> Roy

Definitely prefer the Terry/Kazuya lineup since Roy is very common now. Having Roy in the third slot is a vibe tho

The reason they have auto-turn is because they have inputs they have to do. Wouldn't work in Smash if they didn't. Plus those inputs are harder than to fucking *TURN AROUND* in a game.
@bancholeo552 жыл бұрын
That's what I'm SAYING!!! People love to trash on the FGCs because they have Auto-turnaround when the mechanic wasn't meant to make playing the game "easier". The majority of people complaining about FGCs have never played them or lost to them too many times and it's a shame to hear that.
