As a fairly experienced Lego builder, it's very common for modellers to use little bricks to imitate completely different structural functions, like the walkie talkie you mentioned. For example, the Lego Bonsai (blooming version) is full of tiny pink frogs that imitate petals. I've made my own little DOOM 2016 weapon models and have used a) a grey lipstick as a scope b) a Technic cog for the core of the BFG c) a hose nozzle for the BFG handle d) an entire gun blaster for the Combat Shotgun handle e) mixture of tubes, rods and a robot arm figure for the core and handle of the Gauss Cannon f) binoculars for the Chaingun handle

Loved this video, Ashen, I think it would be a fitting end to the "Not Lego" series if you take all of the parts and build something huge and grotesque if possible, then melt them down well if you didn't care to keep the sets and see what they become and maybe re-mold them into something more useful like a spoon or something, then ebay it!

PedanticCreeper That didn't seem to be the case with any of the sets I bought. Lego's are made so they don't get stuck together but more importantly. We don't get odd size differences from the figure and the model and the figures are exactly as advertised with no errors. Getting the really simple small vehicle and person set you wouldn't be set back by very much less than 15 dollars American coming around 6-10 if you buy it on Amazon.
