Unless it’s a gift for him I don’t touch my wallet ever. I just felt bad for this dude because he seemed to be getting the bill for everyone all the time, reminded of a mentor I had when I was younger. One year my mentor said the saddest thing ever 😢 I asked him what he was doing for his birthday and he said hopefully nothing because he was tired of throwing a big party for his birthday that he would pay for and nobody would even give him a card much less a gift 💔 it wasn’t even fun for him anymore. That always stuck with me when dealing with people in certain tax brackets, I try to be mindful of that possibility. Unless you’re my boo which is way different.
