Lynn is really clever choosing butter chicken. Butter chicken already packs a lot of flavours so they only need a coleslaw and a sauce to accompany it, no need for more ingredients that would slow down their serving speed, and also they can avoid making mistakes such as forgetting an ingredient like the red team did.

The reason Green's line was so short is because they were super fast on service. Their poutine was relatively simple, so they could keep churning out order after order, which in turn kept people coming back. Red and Blue overcomplicated their dishes and so they were slow on service, and no one was gonna want to get into those huge lines a second time.

Not peanut butter (although that would've been really something). It was just *butter chicken.* I've made it before - it's butter-fried garlic, ginger, onion, chili peppers, and curry spices, with tomato sauce and cream added...it's one of those Indian curry dishes that has really taken off in the West because it doesn't have a lot of heat (the chilis used are fairly mild, like jalapeños), making it accessible even to people who have no spice tolerance.

So this is the thing about poutine; it literally means "a mess". Regardless of what judgemental people think ought to be in it, the most important thing is that it's messy, pleasing to see and made with passion. It can have literally anything in it, it's such a versatile and completely underestimated dish. I wish MasterChef Canada did more with it. It's my dream to do a poutine reviews show going across Canada hahaha.
