The traditional way to eat Spätzle in Germany is combined with thickened cooked lentils and Vienna sausage. Another popular dish is called Käsespätzle. That meens Spätzle with cheese, fried in a pan or baked in oven :) Nevertheless, good job. Looks like mouthwatering 👍🏻

Question Why do you use butter when frying a egg and no ol ? is it better ore??
@MrT202211 ай бұрын
I prefer it. For me the flavour is superior 👌😊👍
@puffnstuff400411 ай бұрын
Im not a professional chef, but butter does add flavor to eggs when I fry them at home. I have fried eggs in bacon grease, and that also gives them a nice flavor.
@KFCalif11 ай бұрын
Plus Chef T remarked once that in addition to having better flavor, it wasn’t a cost saver (for him anyway) to use oil, so why not use the preferred butter since he wasn’t saving money in his budget by switching to oil?

Have you ever thought of doing American food? Since you have a knack for noodles I was thinking beef and egg noodles with masked potatoes and green beans. This was my favorite meal during wheat harvest at my Grandmother farm. She fed a harvest crew of 15 to 20 ...from beginning to end of harvest..usually 4 days for her hugh fields. They ate 3 meals a day and she had us Grand Kids to run glass gallon jugs of cold iced sweet tea and fresh cookies, nut breads, doughnuts or sweet rolls to them for snacks. Those were hard days but the happiest of my 77 years. Another farm favorite was her French toast with honey brown sugar sauce..or home made syrup

I used to work as a sous chef at a recently closed German Restaurant (Stoudts Black Angus Restaurant & Pub) in my 20's and I HATED MAKING SPAETZLE. We only had a colander and I had to manually force the spaetzle through the colander with a spatula. I don't miss it. However, I do miss the German potato salad. It was easy to make and delicious. Unfortunately I have long forgot about that recipe. And the pork schnitzel in a mustard sauce was amazing too. And also their Weisswurst and Kielbasa was fun to prep.

1) you are hired by DHL 2) you get assigned to DHLs UK location at Heathrow 3) you become an employee who can visit Chef T in the employee canteen 4) you eat royally at a very attractive price because DHL subsidizes part of the cost and it’s reflected at the register. This good food is both an employee perk AND discount! 5) report back to us and tell us how you did it, so that those who are motivated can get you sacked and take your place
