I talk about my Mach 1 & what’s on the car & then go for a drive.
Modifications: Built forged internal engine, stage 2 Crowley Cams, full exhaust, AFS rear wheel reps, 315’s Nitto NT555
Eibach lowering springs, Bilstein shocks, Maximum Motorsports CC plates, short shifter, subframe connectors, tuned on 93

I know I am a year late to the party ..but I am an original owner of a 2003 Torch Red 5-speed Mach-1 .. I have 277,000 miles on mine .. still runs strong .. uses maybe a quart every 5000 miles .. these cars are extremely well built..

370rwhp is awesome. That’s what older coyotes make and a much lighter car. I sold the same coil covers for $70 not knowing they were Ford GT supercar ones and hard to find. Nice Mach 1. I washed and drove mine yesterday. It had been a long time.

Danny Johnson Yep they are. I didn’t know either until I went to my buddies job one day and looked at their Ford GT in the back. I’ve been there a few times and seen the collection. He works for NPD. I happened to look at the engine and I noticed the valve covers and coil pack covers and I got to thinking. Took a pic and compared them and was super stoked! It is a lot of fun!

Just subscribed man this is definitely my next ride. I currently have a 2019 challenger r/t but I want an Oxford white mach 1 one so bad ill happily give up the creature comforts!

I’m planning on taking the Mach 1 to the drag strip at some point with my new radials 😁 and the wheels are made by a company called AFS. They’re really hard to find. I don’t think they are currently making them but it’s always worth a look!

Sweet Mach1! I have a 03 Azure blue Mach1 and love it ! I have the same coil covers on mine also. Justin svt did a video of my Mach1 on his channel. Great sounding , love the cams! I live in California so no cams for us because of smog laws.

Nice Mach. Miss my ‘04 Screaming yellow. As my daily driver it ran a 12.0 @113 with bolt-ons and got 22 mpg. Have a couple vids up. Tons of fun those cars are.👍

snakebitten 97 thanks man. My build was very simple. I’ve actually gotten a little internet BS from guys saying it had more in it. Full SLP exhaust (1 5/8 longtubes, catted X, powerflo muffs), JLT ram air intake (kept the shaker functional), 4.10s, Diablo canned 93 tune (I adjusted fuel/air myself if I got a lean code), tires were 275 ET street radials (stock height), and a short throw shifter. Stock trans, clutch and axles. I only ran in cool temps. The below sea level DA accounted for a few tenths for sure, the year of frustrating seat time figuring things out accounted for a couple more LOL

@@snakebitten1997 I have no idea. I'm aiming for about 500. Going to do the bottom end all forged. And use stock heads for now. I can always do the head work later and boost.

@@Rooskiy heads flow pretty good out the factory its not a pushrod engine all you need for 500 is boost really. What mileage did you throw a rod? I thought these things were reliable

Saw your car on Raitis Rides newest video, damn thing sounds wicked. Looking to get a 96-98 cobra and do some similar mods to it that you have on your mach 1. First mod is definitely gonna be 4.10 gears. Are you running the flowmaster 40s or 44s?

I’m not sure we the previous owner wasnt specific on what model flowmaster mufflers they were :/ 4.10’s are a lot of work shifting on the street but it’s so worth it! 😂

My mom wanted the same exact color, they only built 814 in Oxford White. Car looks great but I hate those rims, it seemed like every Mach 1 owner except me, love those ugly rims😂😂

I hated them at first too but over time they grew on me. On my car it suits it pretty well. But there’s great aftermarket options out there for sure.
