Thank you very much for watching the video. The BMW iX1 has real one-pedal-driving, you just need to switch the gear shifter to the B mode. If somebody thinks, the one-pedal-driving is too aggressive, just choose the adaptive mode, which allows three different levels of regeneration. (Christian)

hi, how was the general handling of this new X1? i saw another video and steering wheel was waggly. it is not as other bmw models. did you feel anything like that?

From my point of view: The steering is quite responsive and feels as direct as on a BMW X1 xDrive23i, which I also drove. Of course, you can feel the higher weight of the BMW iX1 and it feels a bit more unsettled on the road compared to the X1 with a combustion engine. But driving casual it's a comfortable ride. The adaptive suspension is soft enough to absorb uneven roads. (Christian)

If you mean the ambient light: Yes, the BMW iX1 has it as an option and you can change the colour etc. (Christian)

Hey man, I've got some questions: 1. What colours is this models in? i dont think at the ordering page the colour make sense but this video might give me a hint. 2. What type of seats and material are in this vehicle, and which one would you recommend? I'm looking to business lease a x1xdrive30e, and want to keep the extras as low as possible, but I value comfort in the seats.

The BMW iX1 xDrive30 was a prototype. So I don't have any detailed specifications. The name of the exterior colour should be "BMW Individual Frozen Pure Grey Metallic", which is really very stylish. We have sport seats (they are comfortable) and an upholstery in black perforated Sensatec. The interior trim finishers are called "Aluminium Mesheffect". But show this video to you BMW dealer - they should identify the exact interior specifications. (Christian)

how about the energy comsumption during your test? did u check the values in each drive mod?

BMW states for the iX1 xDrive30 officially an average electric power consumption of 16.8 - 18.1 kWh per 100 kilometres according to the realistic WLTP cycle. I switched the gear shifter to the B mode to get the strongest regeneration mode. Using different modes from efficient to sport and driving mainly on country roads (cities allow a higher recuperation of energy) I achieved overall an average consumption of about 20 kwh/100 km. Having a larger part of city driving, the WLTP consumption should be achievable. (Christian)

The BMW iX1 is actually quiet. However, the microphone is very sensitive. At the beginning of the video, even the light wind sounds loud. In addition, depending on the sometimes rough road surface, the rolling noise of the tyres, which you would hear in any car, comes into play during the ride. On other parts in the video, the BMW iX1 is really quiet. Furthermore you perceive every other noise in an electric car more strongly, because it is basically so quiet. (Christian)
