It doesn't work on my hair because it's thin lol Also it'd take a lot more time to pull this together than to just style bangs, so cutting them is just more convenient in every way, at least for me.

I used to do this all the time using roller pins. It’s definitely a safer alternative to cutting bangs and then having the inevitable instant regret. 😂

I agree that it's worth trying at least once to see how you like them. You can always grow them back out. With my curls, bangs go ALLLLL the directions. It takes a lot of work to tame them into something halfway decent. Then after about 2 weeks they start driving me crazy falling in my eyes. I went through the get bangs/grow them out cycle way too many times before accepting that bangs are not for me. 😂

How do you get your curls so defined? I use so many anti frize products, yet my hair either has some definition within their locks, are mixed with frizziness, or is just frizzy and no definition! Like hoooow, this suffering needs to eeeeend! 😮😢🥺

I have short hair, so it's not that much of an issue for me, but my mom just uses mousse, aloe gel, and blow drys her hair with a diffuser. I have no clue what order she uses which products, but yeah!

Really depends on your hair health and curly type. I have really thick and really curly hair. For me, the extra thick leave in conditioners really make a difference! Ive tried many and my favorite is the bounce curl and define cream. Also their shower conditioner. If you have really thick hair, trust me that you need the extra moisture(preferably a cream that resembles a whipped body butter)! I have to use the define cream after the shower while my hair is wet but stripped of excess water, otherwise I get frizzed out hair with lack luster curls. Set whatever gel or mousse you use while wet and then use the oil to break the cast when it’s dry. My hair will be so coily I actually prefer and like it more when it calms down a little the following days 😂

Mielle Organics has been a lifesaver for me!!! Their super hydrating shampoo is really the gold winner in my book, and they have tons of sales and bundles to try out!!! Recently released an antifrizz line so I think I'm gonna try it next but really for 7 bucks for a bottle that's lasts it's easy to try out different ones too!!!

if you have thinner hair, frizz is just gonna happen more often. my hair has lost abt half its density due to anxiety and is easily less manageable, more frizzy, and lasts for fewer days. i’d try finger curling some pieces or using a defining brush.
