Did something similar in my brallin/shabraz deck. It was turn 5 and I had a 5/5 brallin, heliod the sun crowned, and 6 mana. I swing at someone with brallin and they declare no blocks. Then, at instant speed I give brallin lifelink with heliod and cast heartwarming redemption discarding 4 cards. Brallin pings all three of my opponents 4 times each, triggering heliod 12 times, putting a total of 16 counters on brallin, who is suddenly a 21/21.

I like food. And food tokens. I haven't built a deck that revolves around Food, but I did use them as a tertiary source for Time Sieve in my Sefris deck. Ran a lot of Clue gen, decent Treasure gen especially speed running dungeons, but foods were an afterthought. Might have to build that Colfnor deck I was fucking around with haha. At least I think it was Colfnor.

I thought when you gain life it would be 1 counter for each instance, so whatever the number of tokens is. Can someone let me know how this works? I had a game with ajanis pridemaye and some life link thingsz Was I supposed to put counters for each life, or only each instance of life gain.

Treebeard specifically says "Whenever you gain life put that many +1+1 counters on target Halfling or Treefolk" The important part is that it says that many, so however much life you gain is how many counters are placed. 1 life=1 counter 10 life=10 counters.

He uses the one mana and sams static ability of “foods cost one less to tap” and taps all his food. Its goes prize pig for one mana, food gain 3, untap prize pig because of ribbon counters, repeat.

Yes, it gives you one mana. And with Sam, Food Tokens only need 1 mana to get sacrificed. So you tap it, get a mana, tap your food token and pay that one mana, sacrificing it and then the rest in the video triggers.
