first things first, i love space. and i love roller coasters. when i went on this ride i was extremely nervous because i wasnt sure if it would be like space mountain with its darkness (i am afraid of the dark and space mountain is my least fav ride at magic kingdom, and trust me, ive been on all of them) and i remember hoping to get everybody wants to rule the world because i thought, "even if the ride terrifies me and i hate it, at least ill have a comforting song playing so itll make it less scary." So i got on the ride and i remember going up the lifthill and i knew exactly when the launch would be so the cutscene got closer and closer to ending and i heard gamora say, "i think were jumping back" and i was so nervous and i was praying for the ride to be good and i braced myself. i was so nervous that when the launch happened, i screamed so loud and then i heard the opening of everybody wants to rule the world and nothing was scary anymore. i love stars and space and i never get to see them because of where i live and suddenly i was turned around and i saw thousands of fake, projected little stars that i knew werent real but i didnt even care because it was STARS. it was beautiful. the music registered and everything was this magical experience that i will never be able to explain well enough with words. i cry every single time i even watch a pov of this ride. it was genuinely life changing which is so stupid because its a ride but when i got off that ride everything was seriously so much brighter and i will never love another ride the way i love this one. i payed money to ride it again and it was just as amazing as the last time i rode it. i would gladly pay hundreds of dollars if it meant experiencing this ride more. it may be dumb but im crying just watching this and i just had to type it all out and get out the sheer love i have for this ride.

Space and time, two of the most profound and enigmatic concepts in physics, govern the very fabric of our universe, much like the intricate design of a rollercoaster governs the thrilling experience it offers. Imagine space as the vast, three-dimensional expanse that stretches infinitely in all directions, providing the arena for the dance of celestial bodies, while time is the invisible thread that weaves events together, giving a sequence to the cosmic ballet. In this grand cosmic theme park, each galaxy is a ride, each star a pivotal twist or turn, and each planet a significant rise or fall, all bound by the rules of physics, much like a rollercoaster adheres to the principles of engineering and gravity. At the heart of understanding space and time lies the theory of relativity, formulated by Albert Einstein in the early 20th century. This theory revolutionized our comprehension of the universe, much like how the introduction of steel tracks and precise engineering transformed rollercoaster design, allowing for more daring loops and faster speeds. According to Einstein's theory, space and time are not separate entities but are intertwined into a single continuum known as spacetime. This interweaving means that the presence of mass and energy can curve spacetime, much like the weight of a rollercoaster car bends the tracks it rides on. This curvature affects the paths of objects, causing them to move in what we perceive as gravitational attraction. Just as the design of a rollercoaster must account for forces like gravity and momentum to ensure a safe and exhilarating ride, the universe's architecture must adhere to the principles of general relativity to maintain the cosmic order. The concept of spacetime curvature explains why planets orbit stars and why light bends around massive objects. The famous experiment during the solar eclipse of 1919, where starlight was observed bending around the Sun, provided concrete evidence for this phenomenon, analogous to the thrill of a rollercoaster's unexpected twist that leaves riders in awe of the forces at play. Delving deeper, we encounter the concept of black holes, regions of spacetime where gravity is so intense that not even light can escape. These cosmic entities are the ultimate rollercoaster drops, plunging anything that crosses their event horizon into an unknown abyss. The formation of black holes, often from the remnants of massive stars that have exhausted their nuclear fuel, is a dramatic testament to the life cycle of stars. As these stars collapse under their own gravity, they warp spacetime to such an extent that a bottomless pit is formed. Theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking contributed significantly to our understanding of black holes, proposing that they emit radiation, now known as Hawking radiation, due to quantum effects near their event horizons. This discovery adds another layer of complexity to our cosmic rollercoaster, akin to discovering hidden mechanisms within a rollercoaster that enhance the ride's excitement. Parallel to the exploration of black holes is the study of wormholes, hypothetical passages through spacetime that could connect distant regions of the universe. If black holes represent the steepest drops in our cosmic rollercoaster, then wormholes could be the thrilling shortcuts, allowing for rapid transit across vast cosmic distances. The concept of wormholes, although speculative and not yet observed, arises naturally from the equations of general relativity. These theoretical constructs are akin to the secret tunnels in a rollercoaster design that promise an unexpected journey, defying the traditional understanding of distance and time. In this cosmic theme park, time travel becomes a tantalizing possibility, much like revisiting a favorite ride but experiencing it from a different perspective. General relativity allows for the theoretical possibility of time travel under certain conditions, such as the presence of closed timelike curves. These curves are paths in spacetime that loop back on themselves, potentially allowing an object to return to its own past. The idea of time travel captivates the imagination, sparking numerous science fiction tales, much like the anticipation and excitement of revisiting a rollercoaster with the hope of experiencing it anew. However, the practical challenges and paradoxes associated with time travel, such as the famous "grandfather paradox," where a time traveler could potentially prevent their own existence, present formidable hurdles that make this concept a subject of ongoing debate and research. Quantum mechanics, the branch of physics that deals with the behavior of particles at the smallest scales, introduces another layer of complexity to our understanding of space and time. In the quantum realm, particles can exist in multiple states simultaneously, a phenomenon known as superposition, and can be entangled, meaning the state of one particle is instantaneously connected to the state of another, regardless of the distance separating them. This entanglement challenges our classical notions of space and time, much like a rollercoaster that defies gravity with its loops and inversions. The interplay between quantum mechanics and general relativity remains one of the biggest unsolved puzzles in physics, akin to deciphering the most complex rollercoaster design that seamlessly blends thrills with the laws of motion. One of the most intriguing aspects of quantum mechanics is the concept of the quantum foam, a seething, turbulent layer at the smallest scales of spacetime. This foam is thought to consist of ever-changing spacetime geometries, with tiny wormholes appearing and disappearing continuously. If our universe is a theme park, then the quantum foam is the chaotic, ever-shifting foundation upon which it is built, adding an element of unpredictability to the rides. The potential for these tiny wormholes to connect different regions of spacetime, albeit for minuscule fractions of a second, adds a tantalizing hint of the interconnectedness of the cosmos, much like secret pathways within a rollercoaster park that link different attractions in surprising ways. The expansion of the universe, another cornerstone of modern cosmology, further enhances the analogy of a cosmic rollercoaster. Discovered by Edwin Hubble in the 1920s, the observation that galaxies are moving away from us, with more distant galaxies receding faster, suggests that the universe is expanding. This expansion can be likened to a rollercoaster that is constantly being extended, with new tracks added, creating a never-ending ride. The discovery of dark energy, a mysterious force driving this accelerated expansion, adds another layer of intrigue. Dark energy, which makes up about 68% of the universe's total energy content, remains one of the biggest mysteries in cosmology. It is as if our rollercoaster is propelled by an invisible force, pushing it to new heights and ensuring that the ride never ends. The exploration of space, through telescopes, satellites, and space probes, allows us to map out this cosmic rollercoaster in ever-greater detail. The Hubble Space Telescope, for example, has provided breathtaking images of distant galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters, revealing the grandeur and diversity of the cosmic theme park. These observations are akin to scouting out the rollercoaster tracks from a bird's-eye view, understanding the layout, and anticipating the twists and turns. The ongoing missions to Mars, the exploration of the outer planets by probes like Voyager and New Horizons, and the planned missions to study the moons of Jupiter and Saturn are all part of our relentless quest to ride every possible track in the cosmic amusement park. Moreover, the search for extraterrestrial life adds a fascinating dimension to our journey through space and time. Finding life beyond Earth would be akin to discovering other riders on the cosmic rollercoaster, sharing the same thrills and experiences. The study of extremophiles on Earth, organisms that thrive in extreme environments, has expanded our understanding of where life might exist, from the subsurface oceans of Europa, one of Jupiter's moons, to the methane lakes on Titan, Saturn's largest moon. The discovery of exoplanets, planets orbiting stars outside our solar system, in the habitable zone where conditions might be right for life, fuels our imagination and drives the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI). This quest to find other riders in the universe is one of the most profound and exciting aspects of our exploration, much like the joy of meeting fellow thrill-seekers on the most exhilarating rollercoasters. In conclusion, the interplay of space and time, governed by the principles of relativity and quantum mechanics, creates a cosmic rollercoaster that is both thrilling and awe-inspiring. From the grand scale of galaxy clusters to the minute intricacies of quantum foam, the universe offers a ride of unparalleled complexity and beauty. Our exploration of this vast cosmic theme park, through observation, theory, and imagination, continues to push the boundaries of our understanding, much like the relentless pursuit of new rollercoaster designs that defy the limits of engineering and human endurance. As we ride this cosmic rollercoaster, we are not just passive passengers but active participants, shaping our journey through curiosity, discovery, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge. I’m pleased you enjoyed the ride. See you next time.

Me and my mom were at Epcot the 29th of January and it was our only chance of getting in cause stand by lines and Lightning lane were unavailable for some reason, but we were able to get into the virtual queue and it was taking a long time to get into the ride alone. So we go through the whole first portion of the ride’s queue, pass terry crews’ presentation, and then finally onto the line for the ride. For context we wanted Everybody wants to rule the world cause it’s our favorite song and it was one of the reasons we went, so we’re going down and we ask if we can pick our seat and then we went ti wait until the next ride for what we wanted and so we got Row nine, which by the way always go for row nine it’s the best seat and you’ll understand why in a sec, so we get there and at this point we think we’re not going to get the song cause of how long we waited but we’re excited for the ride. When we finally boarded we get seated, strapped down, and then get ready to roll. When we go we were PRAYING that we got tears for fears while we go through the whole entrance sequence, when it finally came to the song choice it had been indeed tears for fears. When the first notes played I freaked out screaming so excited we got it and my mom did not realize it until the ride launched and the song kept playing and we were so happy about it. And let me tell you that ride is amazing, the way the carts move around in certain ways to show you the show, the planets when you’re swinging past around them, and the “stars” that were there made it all the worth while for the wait. We were singing along to the song, pretty poorly at that but we didn’t care cause we were happyXD, but at the end of it I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face when we were figuring out what just happened. So I would highly recommend riding that ride, and always go for Row nine for the ride cause it feels a lot faster there.

i love this thing but i rode it during christmas time so i was stuck with the christmas music (which was still great) however i'd be so much more hyped up if tears for fears had been playing either time i was on it

When it goes backwards at 1:27 is it going down a drop and spinning at the same time? Also I'm pretty sure the answer to this is no but does this coaster ever go upside down?

no big drops, no upside down, lots of turns and speed. It's not intense as Rock 'n' roller coaster but it's still fast. It's also the smoothest roller coaster out of all the rides.

couldn’t agree more! i was so surprised to read the comments and find out they use different songs

Agreed. Ditch the others and just use this one❤ it’s absolutely magical to experience with the ride. No offense to the other songs but this one just goes perfectly.
