What I really appreciate about you guys is the lack of gatekeeping on the small things. You didn’t need to give us the details on the sour cream seasoning but you did anyways and I really appreciate those small pieces of information. 🙏🏼

I have tried but it seems to slip off and they just don't look as good. I never knew you could Freeze these... That is a TIME Saver. On a Food Truck... Onions are a good profit... especially Onion Rings Thank YOU so much for this great video.... Sooooo Happy.

Awesome. Our local chinese takeaway always did the best onion rings, but they changed owners recently, and we ordered onion rings and we got ten frozen "onion" rings for £5. So I've gone back to making ny own. You can't beat them. Try soaking the sliced onions in clear pickling vinegar for around 5 or ten minutes. It softens and beeaks tge onion down quite quickly, and does something to the onion that when drain, dry it off then flour, batter and fry it, it adds an extra dimension to the flavour - it doesnt turn it in to a pickled onion flavour, and doing this works with red/brown onions too.

You should check out buttermilk powder for a sour cream seasoning. It's in products such as Ranch dressing powder and powdered sour cream dip and it gives it that lactic acid tang and creaminess. Highly recommend checking it out.

I’m always bummed out when I don’t like a particular food. I can’t do blue cheese. I’ve tried all different kinds in all different forms but it’s just a flavor I can’t get behind. For the people out there who love it I’m sure these amazing rings pair beautifully with that salty earthy blue cheese fondue! I probably wouldn’t skip it if I were there in person, I’d have to try it the recommended way! However there was a little Irish pub beat my house in Hudson Valley NY that made a horseradish dipping sauce for their onion rings. Man I couldn’t get enough of that stuff. DEFINITELY making these….
