it is an expression, maybe just British, it means to use something "for real" - in production, etc. rather than just to try it out. good to see the console in action properly rather than just an overview.@@MixingMusicAnalog

I enjoyed this very much Dave keep them coming Please. James vocals kind of give me a Myles Kennedy vibe specially his upper range IMO of course. A question to you Dave the compression you are adding are they on the tracks them selves or on the buses.

Do you track, or do you just mix? Planning on building a ground up private studio next year and trying to decide between the Neve Genesys black or the SSL origin. My engineer likes hybrid mixing, and I'm leaning more towards the Neve. But have been following your video series on your SSL. Kudos

You must be new here! :) Welcome. I have 4 patchbays in the rack. If you go back and watch the videos from the very beginning you'll see how we started with only 1 and grew to having 4.

Dave this may not be the right place to ask this but if I gave you the option of the Rupert Neve Designs 500 series chassis and the WesAudio Super carrier 500 chassis which would you buy and why? I trust your opinion. I am about o make this purchase. I appreciate your help.

I have 3 of the Wes audio 500 series chasis and they have never failed me so I personally would go with them
