It's a traditional belief but doesn't really apply unless you touch/move it when the mate is filled

Hey, I've recently got into yerba, bought a spring bombilla from Amanda and would like to know if it's enough for finer cut yerba like the one in the video

It could be but might be tougher. I don't really have much experience with those bombillas. I use only spoon

@@yerbamatelab the black one that comes with the kit but I want it by it self so Im trying to get it without the kit but I don't know what straw is good I don't really like the one that comes with it in the kit and I want more of the normal ones I'm just new to this so I dot know if a small straw will work

Ah. A small could work, but doesn't work as well as larger ones, especially with finer cuts. Practically all our bombillas will work. Our TRENZA, Queen PALACIO, and Small Spoon Bombilla are just a bit short for the gourd.
