This POV really does a great job of showing all the texture on the face of the wave when you go to a reef slab. There is water moving all over the place, with reef lines and bubbles EVERYWHERE. Nate's stoke comes through very well also. He sees awesome waves and starts cheering guys on! Well Done, as always!!!!

Absolutely love the paddling narration. Even though we’re watching, it provides great clarity of what’s fully involved at any given break you happen to be and wow they’re all so different. What a treat, I truly feel like I’m the one traveling around the world experiencing these far away destinations. Thank you very much Nathan. Huge fan.

I have to agree with all of the comments on here. Such a different take on surfing. Of course, the best part of surfing is the ride. But there’s a lot of satisfaction that comes from the less cinematic bits. Your videos capture it all.

Suggestion for us limited and inexperienced surfers. A short line of text to explain why you back out of waves or what made you second guess and hesitate, missing the wave. There are several waves around the 15-16 minute mark, the "Oh god" wave, for example. Love the videos, learn a lot. Thanks, Tim.

Awesome footage mate. Used to bodyboard here for years from 12yrs old to about 30 with a few mates and younger brother when he got old enough to handle pounding out there. Sometimes we'd be out in the dark looking for waves waiting for sunset. Got some crazy below sea level slabs. Making about 30% of waves. Adrenalin pumping. It was never busy back in 90s, but once level and ability of surfers ripping hard anywhere and anything, it gained a following. Still got original Kodak and gopro photos. Keep ripping mate. Avagud1

It’s funny because it feels like we’re in a movie where you grow affection for the protagonist. I was here like: “hey, dudes, let our surfer pass and catch his waves, he’s a nice guy” “hey, don’t stand in the way! Step aside!” “Oh man, all this shaking must be hard down there, I hope he can breath soon when he comes up” “oh, be gentle, wave” and then you high fived the other surfer and my mind was like: “oh nice, he has friends, that’s good. This movie is getting better.” 😅
