Oh you haven’t seen pedal harp yet? Lever harp has a lever for every string, and the note can only be natural -> sharp or flat -> natural (depending how it’s tuned) Pedal harp has 7 pedals at the base of the harp (you move them with your feet) and each pedal has 3 positions (Flat, natural, and sharp)

Oh f he didn’t adjust B A and E up before tuning it For those who don’t know the semitone up for B and E don’t really exist it’s C and F directly Also there is an order for wich semitone you use, for down the order starts by B E A (you rarely use more) then D G C (wich becomes B) and F (wich becomes E) For a semitone up you reverse the order Putting B A and E up before tuning gives you access to the semitone down for them

For the mpvie flashback, it usually is a whole tone scale. So in the c major key the first three string can be left as normal and the following four notes can be raised. Each octave will now be: C D E F# G# A# B# - repeat (Yes the B# basically doubles the next C but it doesn’t matter)

I was tuning my first instrument, a guzheng (Chinese zither) (never had to tune a piano lol), yesterday and ended up snapping the first two strings (out of 21, so…not bad? 😂) so now i have to wait for random replacements i got off amazon to come in on Tuesday so i can hopefully fix it and I’m not even a thousand percent sure i tuned it 100% properly lmfao so, you’re off to a WAY better start than me LMFAO…I had my first class yesterday but didn’t accomplish anything but realize i tuned it incorrectly before class and try to fix some of it during class (which then caused me to snap two strings) and finish trying to tune it today lolol and i couldn’t tell you how many times i had the freaking tuning wrench on the wrong string while trying to tune a different one ✋ 😭 (i also went through two different tuning machines cuz the first one wasn’t super helpful and i have some other ones arriving Tuesday for comparison, and I’ve sent a video of my current tuning sitch to my teacher, so we shall see 😭 👍)
