So they are actually fighting themselves. Babymetal use to have Folklore in their beginning shows like Anime. Look for the "Legend 1997 concert" and they destroy a Gigantic Maddonoa statue after Su is pinned to a cross in the sickest version of "Death" you have ever seen. They are huge in Europe and here in the US, their 2019 tour was sold out. Rob Halford (Judas Priest) named them "The Monster Ladies of Metal". A Japanese TV show on them the publisher of a metal magazine said "Babymetal are the most famous Japanese high school students in the world". They have a number of awards primarily for their performances. They are due to begin a European tour in a month or so, and believe it mostly sold-out. My favorite early video is "Megitsune" official, my challenge to you is; When does Su-Metal say "Maidens are not to be Underestimated". Its actually obvious if you pay attention. this song is about conquering your inner demons. if you notice at the end the bodies in white are the three girls. this is so good live also. I have been a fan since 2013 when I heard the song megitsune. they are so good live. saw them at the Forum and cant wait to see them again. any song by them is good. every song is different. Babymetal takes different genre of metal and makes it their own. one more song and you cant control yourself about this band. you wont be disappointed with any song you chose. but stay away from any compilation. like others have said they did a US tour last year with 20 dates mostly sold out and they are doing two day show this weekend in Japan, the 25th and 26th. then they start on a European tour sold out except for a couple places. then they are at a few festivals including download UK again.

Great reaction, as I said in your first Babymetal reaction, you'll find some songs they do that will appeal to you more. They don't do many that sound alike and they may mix in some other genre or musical style with whatever metal genre they've decided on for a given song. I see 'Rondo of Nightmare' has already been suggested (good suggestion) so I'll throw 'Headbanger' live at Legend 1997 in as well (don't let the 1997 throw you off, the show was called that because it was the lead singer's birthday and that was the year she was born - it was actually in December 2013).

This is the first baby metal song I heard and that riff made me instantly pick up my guitar. The song is about like fighting your inner demons which is what the hooded figures are. The people in the hooded robes are the girls inner demons so to speak. I really enjoy babymetal. I got to see lat year on their us tour in Philadelphia. There newest album actually topped the billboard rock? Charts for a few weeks. There are a lot of really good heavy songs. Stay away from gimme chocolate. A lot of people recomend that as a first listen in all honesty I think if that was what I heard first I most likely wouldnt of given them a second listen. I don't understand why that song is so huge.

Haha. I definitely don't consider "Gimme Chocolate!!" to be their best songs but it is a good, fun track and, instrumentally, it is heavy and has a great beat. It all comes down to the individual and their preference. For 0HRI0N in particular, I probably wouldn't recommend it as an _introduction_ to BABYMETAL (I could say the same for a few of their other songs including some on the 'Metal Galaxy' album) but he's already heard what are, arguably, two of their better tracks and has seen one of their better live performances so I wouldn't discourage him from _checking it out_ either. If he reacts to it and doesn't like it, guess what?...it's OK, somehow the World will go on. And he seems to be open minded enough to not completely dismiss the band just because one song didn't appeal to him.

One of us, one of us! If you are really interested in more Babymetal, I have 3 suggestions for you: 1.) Rondo of Nightmare (Mischief of Gods): The "Mischief of Gods" part is where the live band really, and I mean REALLY shines! 2.) From Dusk Till Dawn: This was only performed live once and is -really- different from their other songs, but nontheless amazing. 3.) PA PA YA!!: A more recent song - however, word of advice, their newer songs will most likely get you delisted, so you may need to get creative if you plan to react to their more recent stuff. Anyway, have fun! The band is amazing and I love everything about them.

Have seen them live twice already, and will see them 3 more times within a month! I would probably recommend the earlier work, like Gimme Chocolate, Megitsune, Iine, and Headbanger, just to hear the different styles, and then some new stuff like Pa Pa Ya and Da Da Dance, just to see how they have evolved more over the years! (and if you want to hear Pa Pa Ya, I would definitely recommend the Glastonbury live video)

Even they are familiar with BMTH dude, Oliver Sykes is a BABYMETAL fan, several times even they are on the same stage, the last concert in Tokyo and Osaka (Japan) BMTH is a special guest at the BABYMETAL concert. Gonna repeat what everyone's saying "Rondo Of Nightmare, Mischiefs of God Intro" ! That def has to be your next BM experience. After that, I highly recommend you check out the Babymetal/Judas Priest APMA 2016 performance or Su's Akastuki solo. It's sick!! Unfortunately, Babymetal's label Amuse doesn't make true MV's like Karate anymore. All their main bangers from previous albums were amazing (Doki Doki Morning, Iine, IDZ, Megitsune) so much character and style in the MV, hella screamed Babymetal thru and thru. But now it's basically just performance MVs with Distortion being the last actual MVs, yet the girls weren't even in it. 🦊🤘🏽🍅
