So many wows, I can’t remember them all. The underplanting of the palms is fantastic, oh , and the private area tapestries. The one wonderful think about your designs with succulents and cacti is that the planting area may be new but the area does not “look” like a brand new garden.

Wow, every day this install takes on beauty more than the day before. Right at the end of the video, for like a second or 2, it showed you staging the arrangement of the plants. I'd like to see more of that. I put some of my succulent bed together and the next day when I looked at it again, I didn't like it and wanted to change it. I'm very limited in zone 5 but what I didn't like was that the plants I had in one area were too much the same. Back to the drawing board.

I always get a little thrill of excitement when I see a new upload! 😁 This installation is looking Ah-ma-zing. I'd love it if you would also share with us the names of some of the smaller succulents when you are giving a rundown (like the purple-ish plant in with the plicatillus that looks like blue chalk sticks - only it's not). Keep up the great work guys!

@Fabdanc3 жыл бұрын
Ha! Cullen is just trying to correct his gnarly tan line because he didn't commit to the shorter shorts early enough. Could you bare root a succulent onto a palm? I am sure you would have to find someone way to secure it with out driving anything into the palm... But certain tillandsia do grow on trees and could look really cool to see succulents not where you would expect them -- if possible. I know people in places like Florida and Hawai'i will attach their orchids to trees using old pantyhose until the orchids can grab hold themselves.

Again, beautiful work! Love your tapestry work! Have you worked out a general formula that you'd be willing to share?Or, does it just depend on what plant material and rocks or boulders you have available and using your wonderful eye to design it?!
@LauraEubanks3 жыл бұрын
All of my installs are dependent first on rock and plant availability at the time of installation. Once I’ve gathered the troops, I install on the fly😊

Yoy should put rocks around the succulent trust me when it rains the water will hit the soil & splash ontoyour cacti/succulents and it will ruin them. That's my mistake when i put it into the soil

What should I budget for an installation like this?
@nicolemarie28993 жыл бұрын
I am assuming you have a budget... with such a large area, what happens with the bottom dollar when Daddy Greg has to make several trips to buy more plants and things? Does that come out of your share or how does that work?
@LauraEubanks3 жыл бұрын
We allow for this potentiality in our budget/estimate. Any “add on’s” are discussed with the client and approved before moving forward. All is always well with the bottom dollar😊
