Evergreen Fog is a great basic, complimented by a variety of colors. Our daughter chose it for her kitchen island before it was SW Color of the Year! The powder room is going to be lovely. Great job, as always!!! Blessings!!!

That wallpaper is beautiful, but I'm telling you, good old apply wallpaper paste to the wall and hang old school wallpaper is so much easier to work with than the peel and stick stuff. And if you apply wallpaper primer to the wall prior to putting on the paste, it makes the job even easier and the wallpaper can also be stripped if you want to take it off at some point in the future.

And will always be my favourite, I don’t think people realise how easy it is to use handle and apply and remove if you mess up a panel , peel and stick is unforgiving and the most difficult out of all the types of wallpaper that exist

@@charlieehstephenson4893 Absolutely. Don't know why old school wallpaper has such a bad rap. It's stupid easy to install and remove (if the walls are prepped correctly).

I love the paint color. I am also glad you did the ceiling. I have been wanting to try that, and seeing how it looks in yours has made the choice easier for me to do mine. Peel and stick is actually harder to deal with than prepasted or regular paper that needs to be pasted. I love your choices, it will turn out very beautiful.

You're right, starting from the top is better. What I've done with sloping ceilings is run long at the top (after matching pattern) so I can still work top down and then trim as needed once the piece is installed. Less frustrating.

Glad to see you're back, you have such wonderful content. Love the green, I'm a fan of sages, my bedroom is sage, love it! Great use of space for the attached garage since you have your awesome work shop. Hope the garage will be a mini series, finishing the bath, doing the laundry room and looks like maybe some storage area. Question - the bathroom shows 2 doors, one clearly goes to the yard area - will be nice for cook outs and hanging out on your deck. The other door, does it go to the interior of the house or the laundry room? Just curious, couldn't figure it out. TY

i like to paint first before finishes go in. final coat on the ceiling only, then after trim is installed i paint that and then final coat on the walls after. yes there is chance of some wall damage after, but then you only have to repaint the individual walls that have damage instead of removing all the wall stuff and masking everything off.
