I believe something happens where tariq or tasha is threatened or hurt. I say this because it seems tariq is explaining the chain of command i guess u could say in the tejada family to "brayden". Tariq wouldnt explain that to him because from what the show has portrayed is that he wants to keep brayden out of his buisness (as much as possible) and the only reason he is using him is because he deaperate in trying to earn money to pay for davis. In the last episode a smidget of showed when dru came to tariq and brayded came in and he was trying to keep them seperate. I believe the only reason tariq is telling him about the tejada is because something bad happened and brayden is entitled to an explanation. Tariq sounds scared but dont underestimate him, he may be just plotting on how to take them out and say checkmate.

I’m a fan of the team so I’ll give it a few more episodes before I decide whether or not I’ll use the time to continue watching the show or engage in something more compelling.
