This is why i love ITF more than any other TaeKwonDO style (pls dont come at me like some nerd saying some stuff to confuse me about styles and stuff. Last time i did taekwondo was when i was 12)

different colours have different levels of comparison. I believe white boards are equivalent to about 2 wooden boards. 1 wooden board = 1 fully grown male rib

it should be one is as 5 cm wood ~ 2 inch (could be enough to break any bone in your body)

He was disqualified for double measurement. Actually, it seemed he didn't want to strike at all but just touched the board so that it looked like measuring two times. Injured hand, perhaps.
