Still seeing voltage on the panel(circuit panel) in basement after pulling the wall wart in same rm as control panel. Is there a second 15v ac xfmr somewhere? I'm pulling the aging wired system installed by ADT under prior owner. Thanks for any help.

You'll want to be sure remove both the plug-in transformer power supply as well as the backup battery for the system. After both are moved, this would be fully powered down.

@@dylanalarm_grid1038 I pulled the batt and removed the wall wart held in by a screw, just below the main display panel. Still seeing 15v on incoming line from (somewhere!) else in the house and can't find the source. The wire seems to be coming to the basement panel from under floor joists. Ugh. The source is hidden too well.

Does power cycling your alarm system reset it back to factory settings?

It does not, no programming is erased when a system is powered down.

Getting power supply failure alerts even after replacing the transformer. Is there a way to reset that alert?

Hello @mrb552, If you have replaced the AC wall adapter and are still getting an AC loss failure, here is something to try. Confirm AC voltage at the transformer and at the AC terminals on the panel are accurate and match. If the input voltage from the transformer and the ac terminal voltage match, and if you enter programming and exit programming resetting the messages. See if the ac loss / Power supply failure returns in 60 to 90 seconds without touching the keypad. If so, you may have a board issue and the panel board would need replaced.

@@DKAlarmgridSupport Thank you for the assistance. I have not yet tried entering and exiting programming to reset the messages. Is that a requirement in addition to the power disconnection to clear the alerts? Thanks again for your help.
