Hi, I love your videos , the analytical work is top notch, I subscribed recently, keep it up. I'm a bit confused though, I kept leveling my enchanter glyph because of your other best glyph video but u don't use it here for the meteor build ? How come?

Welp, you already know I am beyond very grateful. I am still running chain shatter and its amazing. I have gone from pretty much an average player, to one now sought out for fast nmds. Its crazy. Its a blast. I still occasionally get those with 'deer/sorc in the headlights' who insist on telling me why my build wont work, why theirs is better, blah, blah, blah. My friends now just say "oh boy, here we go" as I quietly run my 'Mathy Sorc' and leave the doubters, usually very quiet, in disbelief. I am not at the level of many, but sure am enjoying the one I am on (ran 74 nmds today w a group, Mathy Sorc was great). That said.... I. CAN. NOT. WAIT. TO. TRY. THIS. BUILD. 'nuff said, except thanks very much for sharing your gift with us, it is actually making a huge difference.

My meteor build is focusing on frost nova, meteor, and teleport. I got an ancestral item that ups the rank of my teleport by 13 and gives me the enchantment for free. I have 5 dogs charges that are all teleports in addition to my regular teleport and it pulls enemies in and stuns them. I use frost nova then launch meteor for the damage to stunned, frozen, vulnerable etc. the only issue I have right now is mana, but being able to infinitely teleport out of danger I don’t really run into many issues.

Even though I’m getting bored with the game, I’m going to try this. Was looking for a good meteor because I’m tired of ice shards. But I loved your chain shatter build.

Hope you end up enjoying it, feels quite a bit different than most builds I've tried with the attack speed / teleport reset. Not having dodge took some getting used to but it started to feel really good once I got the hang of it. Also meteor is just a satisfying spell

Fiery surge is bugged. It doesn't work. 0 points to 3 points and you'll have the exact same mana regen.

@@Zikorik you're quite welcome, sir. Great videos btw! I'm running hydra/fireball (fireball and frozen orb enchantments, inferno, flame shield, teleport, frost nova) with gloves of the illuminator and loving it.

I don’t know if anyone has been pointing this out, but d4 planner has 60 points, and in game, with all renown bonuses, you will have only 58 points. Please correct me if I wrong.

Im using a Fireball/gloves of iluminator build/Frozen orb enchant. It would be great if u make a video with this build. Mainly for Paragon.

tbh I think the paragon will end up being pretty similar to this one as long as we can get enough vulnerability to make exploit / frigid fate board worth. Would probably drop Adept & Warding glyph to try something like Flamefeeder / Pyromaniac.

the problem is meteor doesnt do any dmg by itself in higher dungeons its getting carried by hydra which is bugged at the moment.

I almost made the guide with flame shield instead of Hydra because it's potentially more viable for higher nightmare push. This is definitely meteor damage.

1st thank you for your Diablo 4 videos. You have literally helped my build come to life. Because of you I surpassed my eternal character (81) and now destroying level 90 enemies. Question though, for more damage. I’m having trouble doing the math but in your opinion. Would you say Tal’Rasha or Tempting Fate vicious malignant hearts? Thank you again for everything you’ve done and will do in the future ✌️🥸👍

Awesome to hear mate that's why I make em :D I saw in the latest hotfix they should have fixed tal'rasha "The Caged Heart of Tal'Rasha and Caged Heart of the Great Feast now match their tooltip and are correctly calculated as multiplicative instead of additive." so it should be a lot better now. I'd say if you are running barber go with tal'rasha cus that gives you shadow dmg so will bring you up to x48% all dmg, if you get a max roll of Tempting Fate and are critting a lot that one could definitely be viable, gonna rely alot on crit chance tho. Also will be more impactful the less total crit dmg you already have.
