Nobody else on youtube talks about concepts such as this. You've made playing the middlegame for me so much easier with this playlist. You deserve alot more views. Keep up the excellent work!

I'd like to add that pushing h pawn is often a good defensive maneuver, preventing g4 is closed sicilian, or in Caro-Kan, and also saving f5 square for a knight.

When in doubt push 'Andy' the A pawn or 'Harry' the H pawn!!

13:45 If black wants to win back the pawn after Qxh4 he can play Nxd5, which in my opinion is stronger than Rh8 but I haven't checked with an engine or anything.

I don't often play a4 or h4 (or a5 or h5 as black), but sometimes my opponent's do, so this video is useful for me to learn how to defend against those moves. Thanks, Stjepan.

If you write “h or a” together like this “hora” then it becomes “hoe” i Swedish and I think it’s also clock or time in Spanish

One time I saw my friend training for a Spanish test and one of the words was “hora”. And because “hora” means hoe in Swedish I asked him what it meant but that happens about a year year ago so it was hard to remember the exact words translation of the word.
