Power Plan Keeps changing in Windows 11 or 10 (fix)

3:08 worked. I'm using Cortex Game Booster which automatically sets the power plan to the program cortex's power configuration, the 2nd part of the video starting around 3:08 fixes this. Thank you so much!!

I have the opposite issue .. when it changed automatically i just have to re put it on high performance and i got no fps issue but now that it dont change automatically anymore i have fps issues

worked! I deleted balanced and now it stays on ultimate or High Performance since my rig requires 1000 watts or more , zero lag now!

I know it's been a while, but I keep getting this error that says "The active power scheme cannot be deleted." I remember a while back I set up a custom plan that was for maximum performance. I don't really need all this performance nowadays and I don't want my computer to be running at full speed for basic tasks.

OMG I home this works. my system works great on high performance but locks up on idle if it's set to balanced and certain games put it on balanced so happy to delete it, I hope this works

Idk why but there's some bug in my computer where whenever I do something my power plan keeps changing to "High Performance" the biggest problem is that it's invisible I can't delete it in the cmd, cuz it doesn't show in the Control Panel, I tried doing everything

My issue is i made a plan with pci express moderate power saving Pmin procressor power management Min 10% Max 90,% Turn off the display never Put thr computer to sleep never It pretty much stables my temps Cpu idle 35 Gpu idle 45 Whilr gsming my cpu doesnt ascend more than 50•C or rven less, while my gpu used to to 80°C sometimrs bc op the cpu limit 100% but ewith this tweaks it max gors to 60ish°C without comprimizing performance ot anything My only issue is when i reboot the pc It changr my power plan Pit the comouter to sleep resets to 15min And it change my max processor power management To 100% which leads to loud fan noise and cpu getting warm at the start

@@Am94514 from what I googled it might be because of a control center which tampers with the power plan. For me I think it is the AMD software, which I don't want to uninstall. But it seems to automatically adjust the power for gaming.
