No death is sadder than any other. Thuy never had this love and support coming from the fans because well, the internet wasn't like this decades ago. Let's also not forget that 9/11 happened a week after her passing. I hate thinking about what we could have had with her if she was still alive. All six (or ten I should say) together.

I really felt with Austin St. Jon. Because I had a friend like that whom I had a bad blood with for years for all the pettiest reasons, he passed away on a boat accident and I never got to say that I was sorry and never got the chance to bury the hatchet. Never had the chance to share snacks and drinks with him like we did when we were dumbass teens.

I've cried a lot since I heard his passing. My childhood hero. I remember as a kid watching mmpr every chance I could get because of him. I met him once in an airport during a layover for both of us. We talked a little but never got a photo with him because of time. Guess that photo will never happen now. I'm tearing up now thinking of that too. Great guy, didn't make a fuss with me talking to him. We didn't even acknowledge who he was til the end but we both knew I had recognized him though lol. I am making a plan to meet all the other rangers and get a photo with them all if possible. Austin St John, Walter Jones, David Yost, and Amy will be the ultimate goal for me. I couldn't get his but they were all my original heroes. Ah man it still hits hard.

I was in a discord call with some friends when we heard the news. One of them literally said he wanted to be alone as this hit him really hard aswell as myself. Watching the original Power rangers was such a thrill and i won't lie, as a child I hated Jason due to him playing a evil character but as my mind realised actors played them not the real life story I became to respect him especially as he appeared in more series and such. Jason is a legend to my childhood and he will be missed... :(

A channel called TheFanClub563 posted a poem, a short titled "Jason David Frank was fighting demons. Yet every day still showed up for the fans," that was narrated by JDF. I don't know the name of the poem, but it hit hard. Here is my response: This...hits harder than it should. I felt his pain, because it is a pain I know all too well. It has been said that a man can have no greater enemy than himself. That when a man fights the battles of the warzone in his own mind, the enemy he faces is one...of himself. It is that part of his mind that knows everything about him. That condemns him...without cause. It is that part of the mind that is the very inherent darkness that resides within each of us. If a man has two sides, one good and the other evil, like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, each can be compared to starving wolves. The question becomes, which will you feed? Which will prosper, and grow? And which one, will you cage deep within your own mind. It is that dark nature that we have, that tries to show us as guilty in the real world. That points a finger at us, accusingly, and claims we are guilty, because we have offended, even in a small way. Yet in the warzone of the mind, those inner demons can grow, and grow, and grow...to the point where they seem impossible to beat. To overcome. That they are insurmountable. Yet it is with a weapon as sharp as a katana that the man in pain fights these demons. That he tries to put them down...for good. Only to have them rise again. And so, the pain-filled man keeps fighting the battles within his own mind, never vocalizing, even masking, that which he faces. And to those around him, should they never speak to him in wonder, then his social camouflage holds. Yet eventually, after enough time, the burden the pain-filled man carries becomes evident...if you know of the signs to look for. For there is no greater hope for the pain-filled man, in his darkest hours, in his darkest days, that what he desires most is to show his pain to others, and have that pain be transformed into love. To the pain-filled man, that act of selfless love is the light in the dark he hopes and yearns for. Yet, for many, that light, and that love, only gets shown after the pain-filled man loses his battle, his war, with the inner demons of his own mind. And you, dear reader, should you ever suspect that you know of a pain-filled man, willingly take that pain from him, and give him the love he so desperately needs. Because too often, we never realize, in our own lives, how close the pain-filled man is, or what he means to us, until it is too late. One friend, at the right time, can save a life. Jason, I just wish you could have found a friend in your darkest hour that night, when your demons were at their strongest and you needed help the most. I know the darkness you were in all too well...I just wish someone could have known you were hurting, and let you know you were not alone. Though I watched you as a kid, I never got the chance to meet you in person. Despite this, I wish I could have hung out with you, if only for a time, just so you knew that you were not alone in the dark. Yet the swarming, blackened rising claimed your life, and claimed your soul, because you lost the battle with your inner demons...and now you are gone. Gone much too soon. Rest easy, Tommy. You are now forever part of the Morphing Grid. We are forever grateful to you for raising and inspiring an entire generation. Once a Ranger, always a Ranger. May the Power protect you in the next life. You will never be forgotten. RIP Jason David Frank 1973-2022

It has been a very hard time since November. I was logged out of my account and my system was down for a long while. Just got this fixed. This is a very well done collection of messages and videos. That scene with JYB is somewhat disturbing. Otherwise thought this was very well done! Lots of beautiful and kind messages. This was very hard to deal with. Thank you for putting this together and sharing it with us! This seems to have hit many fans very hard. My condolences to everyone else on here and to his family! There’s a lot that still needs to be figured out. One thing I personally stand by is that I was more connected to Tommy’s later adventures. I also once had my own similar experience to the breakup story. A girl who I was really close with chose my friend over me. After that happened I saw the story in Zeo as a more important story. I’m sure fans will disagree with me sometimes but at heart I’m going to always say that I am a Tommy and Katherine fan. However my respect goes out to all the different fans out there. No matter what you’re a fan of and no matter what troubles you are dealing with connected to this, I got your back and I support you. I respect everyone here! Rest in Power JDF! 💚💚💚😢😢😢🐉🐅. RIP Jason David Frank he is one of my favorite black ranger from Dino thunder. He should have been in power rangers dino charge so they can team up with dino thunder. So sad that he is gone along with Pua Magasiva, Lothor, Trini and others as well.

You know they should make an episode with no music, all the rangers coming together to honor the loss of the legend and passing down his master morpher to his next of kin. Nothing would be more heart warming then seeing his child get his morpher

@@Videogeek95 someone mentioned that Kira; due to her absolute refusal to acknowledge the franchise or apparently claim she did the show; said nothing but posted the suicide hot line number. OK. I guess. To each their own. But his life was more important and he was so amazing; to have worked with him like that and too afraid to say anything because of being associated with the franchise? Maybe they weren't close at all. Idk. But still. Idk. at least she gave out the number i guess but also everyone did that as well. So idk.

When Jason said once a ranger always a ranger I couldn’t hold in my tears, you guys were a part of a legacy that really shaped a lot of children into adults, especially the kids that needed to learn to stand up for what’s right. It was a job but it became a legacy rip to another one of our heroes

When you go through life knowing that one of your mentors is murdered in cold blood and then your idol commits suicide.. it really puts you at a crossroads, this shit hurt worst than any celebrity death, JDF taught me what being a leader and a roll model was all about. And I’m still pissed to this day I didn’t take that day to see him at Mall of America just to finally be able to say thank you for teaching me how to be a better person. So many words can’t express how I felt about the day I heard of his passing, it still saddens me. Dude was like the father figure I never had even though it was through a screen, I still learned valuable lessons from him, and some kickass karate moves. RIP JDF 🙏🏽

I hope...one day in the future in another life we find someone who gave off his soul, his humor everything about him. He may be one of a kind but FFS WHY DID WE HAVE TO LOSE A GOOD MAN!? I DUNNO WHO TO BLAME! It hurts...It hurts to lose someone I wanted to meet in the future so I could see him as a friend and as a hero. We all who have grown up watching power rangers will miss him from the gen before gen z to Gen-Z and any future gens who watched it. May a man who saw his fans as friends rest in peace even if it heart breaks the many who loved and saw him as a inspiration and a hero when home felt unsafe and may the men in this world find a true loving woman who will not hurt them or break them down but pick them up when they are down and support them in all ideas they have as long as they all listen to eachother and work on it together. One a ranger always a ranger, rangers forever. Rest in peace JDF a king who didn't need to go as soon as he did on Novmber 19th-20th 2022..May we meet you again in another life 😔💕

Every Power Ranger fan remembers every major battle Jason David Frank every fought on so many incarnations of Power Rangers. The main difference is that Lord Zedd, Rita Repulsa, The Machine Empire, Divatox, Astronema, Trakeena, Queen Bansheera, Ransik, Master Org, etc. are all fictional. The demons in your head are very real, and can be far more powerful than any Power Rangers villain could ever hope to be. May the power protect you forever, Jason David Frank!!!

My dad used to watch Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers and loved Tommy, and he stopped watching only because Power Rangers isn't the same without him, and my dad didn't want me watching Power Rangers without Tommy Oliver in it. When I was a kid, I loved Dino Thunder, my dad got mad at my mom for letting me watch Power Rangers on the upstairs TV, and she said "no, honey, look" and turned on the downstairs TV. Lo and behold, Tommy Oliver was the history teacher, and the Black Ranger. Me and my dad loved watching Dino Thunder. I already knew Tommy was the best, and I found it hard to watch any Power Rangers series without him because I just wasn't as interested. Yeah, I have favorite rangers that aren't Tommy. Like the Red and White Rangers in Dino Thunder, or the Wolf Ranger from SPD. But no matter what, it really isn't the same without Tommy in them.
