hi,thanks for the video, i have question regarding a tga vista s mobility scooter, its my mums and vandals smashed the front end up and the lcd panel is cracked and dont work altho it lights up for a second when charging and shows a battery symbol ,but when i turn it on by twisting ignition wires together(they was pulled of when vandalised)there is no power,nothing works,my queston is ,shouldnt it drive or the indictors and lights still work, even if the head unit is broken? i apreciate any help thanks

Thanks good video! My mobility scooter is having a flash code show up upon power. The flash code relates to the throttle pot. How can I calibrate to find the sweet spot? Do I just have to pull the handle of and turn the pot shaft ever so slightly and turn the power back on and repeat over and over with the slightest turns?

Also on my scooter the wigwag paddle only goes one way. It has a separate switch for reversing the direction of the motor. If that makes a difference in calibrating

@@CriptasticHacker hey thanks! I have managed to get the scooter but sometimes it cuts out when driving. I turn it off and on again and it goes. When it cuts out it is displaying the same flash code as before. Do you think I haven't quite got the throttle pot calibrated right? At least it's going now after watching your videos

@@DanielFrame-id3gq it's very hard to calibrate it perfectly. I don't know for sure since I don't have your scooter, but mine does that when it gets a bad reading from the pot. Getting the same error code also leads me to believe that yes, it's the calibration. Hopefully you don't have a dead spot in the pot. My guess is you just need to tweak the calibration. Be prepared to spend an hour or two to get it right. Once you get it right, make sure to grab some readings with a multimeter (on ohms) for your records!

@@CriptasticHackerhave tested the swing of the pot with a multi meter and it had no dead spots. Will have to try tweak the calibration a bit more. Thanks for your reply and videos, very helpful!

50 bucks ? I just ordered a new throttle assembly for my scooter and they charged me $107 bucks. And I am not sure it's even the right one yet . Aholes

it is insanity. I hope it works out for ya. Maybe a better use of this project would be throttle replacement circuit for cheaper
