thanks! I do not use this headset as much anymore but the heavy transformer brick was always swinging around and hitting my elbow. This way it is just a bunch of cables. I did want to try out HP's initial product which was this headset connected to a computer with battery that you wore in a backpack. That would make you completely untethered.

Thank you for your nice comment. All of the cables are universal. The power supply is not (sort of). You have probably used chargers for smart phones or laptops on different voltages. You do not need a "voltage converter" (expensive and mildly dangerous) as much as a "plug adapter". Here is a different one from Amazon that does have 100 watts from a USB C outlet (which may be the most important thing) that comes with a plug for a 110 voltage Outlet (NEMA 5-15) but has plug adapters for other outlets. In my opinion, probably any plug adapters will work. @@francislam3263 The power transformer that comes with the HP Reverb G2 is part number L25296-002. There are some good photos on ebay. www.ebay.com/itm/114744365423 The use of a particular wattage of power supply (transformer) can get difficult to compute since it will not scale linearly if the load is complex. The visual outputs in the headsets are miniature monitors and can have some induction and capacitance issues. The HP power supply works at a 19 volt output with a stated 45 watts. Specifically I used a 65 watt power supply with a USB C cable and the adapter tip and it did not supply enough power. It would only work with a 100 watt transformer to USB C power supply.

It works but you gained nothing by this buddy. Just a "Wallwart" instead of a brick. We do not see either when using VR.
