I live south of Buffalo NY. We get several ft of snow often. I have an x580. Never have had a problem. When it gets to about 18” I blow it out. Then repeat as often as necessary.

I don't know what to watch on the video. The x590 working or that adorable German Shepherd of yours. It's so cute that I could almost reach into this tablet screen to pet it.and is it a male or female? Dose it enjoy being petted? What's it's name?

You can use the RIO button so the blower doesn’t shut off every time you back up. It saves wear on the electric clutch by not engaging it every time you use reverse. (Electric clutches are not cheap-you want them to last as long as possible)

I would use the RIO switch unless I was making a turn that would throw snow where I didn’t want it. It was a great setup, but we sold this unit with our property.

Wow, haven't seen you around in a while. You got more snow then our 2" we got here in Tn. Probably the last one till next winter.

mi2tn I’ve had the blower for 3 winters, and the cab for 2. This is the first time since I’ve had it, I needed to use it....even then not really. I have a set of TerraGrips as well I’ve never had to use. I did notice with that drift, I’ll definitely need to put them on if the snow is consistently that deep.

Steven Silva If we received 2 to 3 feet of snow, I wouldn’t own this setup in the first place. The most I can remember getting since the blizzard of ‘78 was less than 10 inches, so this is perfect for where we live.

The trick to dealing with 3 feet of snow is not waiting till there's 3 feet of snow. You do a pass with the snow blower once the accumulation gets to 12"-18" as often as necessary. In a pinch, a person with a shovel can knock down high snow so the snow blower can process it. Its slow but still way easier then doing it all by hand.

@@West.Property.Management the blizzard of 78 dropped record amounts of snow here in boston. Compared to what we got in 2015 when we got like 103 inches in the course of a month. I'd use this set up with 2 or 3 feet. Just gota take your time. Hope all is well, merry christmas

@@stevensilva1350 I've used my X-534 with this same setup in 2-1/2'feet of snow,it handles it without issue because that's what a 2-stage blower was designed to do in the first place, very deep snows. This snow here would be handled easily with my 60"inch rotary broom on my X-595 diesel.

The X590 and 47" blower handles 2 or 3 feet of snow no problem. I have same setup in upstate NY- largest storm so far I've taken on is 26 inches, with 4 foot high snow piles at end of driveway left by town plow. X590 , 25.5 hp EFI engine, 47 inch 2 stage blower ate throw those 4 foot piles of snow and ice no problem
