I still think that ram should have the option of having a 6.4L on the 1500’s and instead of having 410hp that it should at least come with 450hp so that it not as powerful as the SRT products that was its not considered an srt . Well i would love for it to actually have the 485hp but 450hp will do.

I decided to purchase the 2019 Power wagon. For me the fit is better. I don’t really tow and rarely will load it. I love the better off road capability and the looks. I’ve had it for about a month now and love it. It’s a beast of a truck. I factory ordered it and have only one regret about the set up. I wish I would have opted for the front and side cameras.

The bumper step is installed at the factory. Also if you get a Quad cab it will come with a 6'4" bed not the 5'7" bed so both configurations have the same wheelbase.

The cab dimensions are not the same! The 2019 cab was updated only in the 1500, the 2500-3500 stayed the same as the 4th gen. The new 2019 crew cab is 3in longer than the old cab that's on the power wagon. And the rear seat can slightly recline

Power Wagon is solid front/rear axle, dual locked with D/C swaybar. It's the better choice for offroad. Rebel would be better for on road with some lighter offroad.

You should talk more about when you can actually use the sway bar disconnect and lockers. Some vehicles are only allowing certain aids to be used while in 4low etc.. Also talk about crawl ratios and heating in the rear, trans and transfer case.

I can’t see how the Powerwagon is disappointing in any realm except for towing and payload. However, the Tremor isn’t going to come close to how the Powerwagon performs as instead of a front locking differential, it gets a limited slip, which isn’t too shabby off-road, but compared to a locking differential, not nearly as useful and dependable. Not to mention, the Tremor doesn’t have a disconnecting front sway bar or a winch. So yes, I’m looking forward to when they compare the two, but the Powerwagon will almost certainly walk away the better of the two. And for future reference, NO, the fact the Tremor is offered with a diesel will NOT help it off-road. The weight would hinder it useless in mud or loose terrain unless it had an extra axel with two more wheels.

For what I want in a truck, the Power Wagon is set up much better for off-roading than the Rebel. The features that come stock on the PW, just can't be beat by any other non modified IFS vehicle. I do like the Rebel, but like the PW so much more, as it's just plain made better for off-roading. The only thing missing on the PW, is taller tires.

I don’t think the cabs are the same. I believe the 1500 is larger and the HD is last years cab. Even in you video I can see differences in the rear door area under the seat. The side rear window on the wagon also appears to be smaller. Please correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think so. Also, the rear seats are different.

The Rebel gets a total of 3 inches for lift. The Rebel package is lifted an inch over a normal 4x4 and the air suspension gives it an additional 2 inches👍🏻

If FCA has any brains they need to add the 3.0 ecodiesel to the power wagon. Cummins straight 6 stops them from mounting the winch but that ecodiesel won't. 480 lb ft. is enough for the truck. That's more than the 6.4 and will get far better mileage. Win...win.

Fuel consumption is about 50% more on the power wagon. take that into account when buying. the running costs can be much more for the bigger truck

You can buy that step at the dealer. MOPAR. Power Wagon tows great. I Pull my 10,000lbs 25 ft toy hauler R.V. trailer in soft beach and softer dune sand. Pulls hard with all 4 wheels. You dont want stiff springs off roading where stiff springs are NOT good for rough roads and flex of the suspension.

The PW definitely sounds better, though neither sound great in my opinion. That can be easily fixed. I've never liked the interior of the Rebel. I'm sure the seats are comfortable but I can't get over how ugly I find the red accents. RAM should make the red accents an option, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt sales in the slightest considering how few of these I see on the road vs every other RAM truck offered.

Isn’t the sway bar disconnect for the front axel due to it being solid front axel vice the IFS for the rebel which wouldn’t need it. The power wagon sounds better

Paul M Im not sure if the powerwagon can do anything better than the Ram Rebel. Ram Rebel is over 1000lbs lighter,you probably need disconnecting sway bars and front locker. Powerwagon makes a better platform to lift supper high and put some 40s on it.

I’d rather live with the Rebel daily than the Power Wagon and still have the capability when I do need it.

I think the rebel would be a better off road truck because it is sprung softer. HD trucks are too harsh bouncing down a dirt road especially if you can't tow as much.

How is this even a comparison??? The Power Wagon is a monster and THE king of off road trucks. The Power Wagon is a purpose built off road truck from the frame up at the factory. The Rebel is a light duty truck with some off road add ons. They are zip codes apart. I think making comparisons like this is really to give the impression the Rebel “could” be a comparison to the Power Wagon. Ridiculous. You want/need the best off road truck you pony up the $$$$ for a Power Wagon.
