Wow exactly what i was looking for! The driver's side window of my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2004 will roll down, but won't go up. Pretty sure the circuitry is fine so I think it's the motor and/or regulator. Seems like quite a project for DIY but I'm thinking of trying thanks to your excellent video. Bit jealous watching you power it up and down at the end...must've felt good!

Got lucky and found the pins in the controller for the drivers window weren’t making good contact, bent the pins slightly and window is working again. Thanks for the help on your last video for removing the door panel and testing the wires. Helped a lot.

Glad I found this video. It's about to rain, so I went out to roll up the windows in my '96 Cherokee. The driver's side went up about 3", then came down, now it won't move or even make a noise at all. Do you know if it's the same procedure to change out the motor and regulator on a '96 as it is on your 2001?
