Power windows, mirrors, locks and signal lights on a base model truck.

I previously installed Escalade doors on my 2003 Silverado WT. it had no power options from factory so I had to install another dash in the truck to accommodate the wiring harness for power mirrors, locks, windows, puddle lights, and mirror signal lights that I installed today!
I’ve had some people ask for my address to send along something, so I thought I’d leave my address here incase you’d like to! I appreciate you guys.

Dashboards are usually darker to keep light from being reflected on the driver. It’s also one of the reasons you rarely see a white dashboard.

The radio just needs a vin relearn done with a snap on or equivalent scan tool and it will unlock

Looking good, i just put in a new carpet kit and almost finished my interior on the awd truck. Your video forsure have helped me. I have 5.3 and a SS 6.0 harnesses extra cab. So I hope all mine works together, probably not lol im going to be watch your strip the harness video when i do mine. Hope your having a good day man.

Hey buddy, glad I could help! If you have any questions or anything feel free to ask, I’m still going through this stuff myself. There’s no reason yours shouldn’t work as long as all the parts are from the same generation (99-02 or 03-07) then it should all basically plug in and work. When’s the next video going up?

I do know Im probably going to need a engine harness for the 5.3 I doubt the 6.0 would work but I haven't got that far just yet, few more weeks. Video should be up this weekend. The new black front end looks so good btw, the whole time watching this I knew the white front end will be coming off. Have a good morning buddy, don't work too hard.

I appreciate it man. I hope you have a great day too. The engine harness should work like a charm, even the intake manifold, injectors everything should just go clickity click and fire right up. I’ve even heard of running 4.8s on 5.3 pcms and stuff so it may even fire up.

@@StationroadRatrods you really think it work huh, I mite just try it. I have bigger injectors and a small boost cam. I plan on doing a Holley kit but they aren't cheap 😕 plus I need to build one hell of a 4l80.

@builtmikesway1167 if you’re running an 0411 pcm just change the injector data to match, lean out the MAF in the idle section a little and see what happens. Hptuners is less expensive but works well!

The lock/unlock dilemma you was having, the doors usually won’t lock in that condition e.a lock with the key in the ignition with the door open so you don’t lock your keys inside!!

They should have curb assist. Go through the menu in the DIC on the dash with the steering wheel buttons. They should also power fold. Leave the mirror L/R selector switch in neutral(middle) and press the mirror adjuster button towards you like you were adjusting the drivers mirror in. It should fold in. Do the opposite to power fold out.

The switch is from an extended cab w/o power folding mirrors, but I’ll try it anyway. The steering wheel buttons don’t work as the dash assembly is from the same extended cab and didn’t have the wiring for the column. If I can find that dash I’ll probably switch it out in the future

Your videos are all scrambled. Last week you had sll yhe black panels on and now its white again! Im so confused! Also,the dome light is on a timer. If your door is open a long time the light will shut off.
